Thunderstorms/thundershowers were formed this day due to the same Pacific storm system that started giving us decent rainfall ever since Monday. The center of the storm system, or the low pressure system, was spinning almost directly over our area, around the Central California at this time which was why the atmosphere was very unstable, enough for t-storms to form rather easily.
This is just one of many storm cells/cumulonimbus clouds that fired up around the Central California region this day. (Thursday, October 6, 2011)
IMTank is a concept that was developed by the Society of Information Management (SIM) Colorado, and is based on the popular ABC program “Shark Tank.” The SIMTank is an annual event in which four Denver-area startups pitch their ideas to some of the top venture capital investors in Colorado. Investors quiz the companies, vet the competition, and then decide on a winner. The winning startup is presented with a $5,000 check.
