Facit has developed many new component types specific to this project. In all there are 200 components each containing 10 - 15 parts - 3000 of them in all.
One can visualize the front forks' stem being extended so the 6" double-shrouded roller supports (and guides) the front of the bike. The outrigger only requires a single-shrouded roller. The rear wheel remains original with side-guide-support-rollers affixed from the cycle's frame.

•Description: The new multi-phase Dolphin process allows a rigid substrate with integral foam core and MIC grained skin to be produced in one step on one machine. Equipped with an opposing, 2-barrel rotary platen with expansion/decompression option and utilizing the microcellular foam molding process, the system molds a rigid PC/ABS carrier, then forms a solid, MIC grained Class A outer skin (thickness adjustable by manipulating mold cooling time) as well as a low-density foam core layer (thickness/density is adjustable by altering the mold opening stops) from the same shot of TPE. The 3 layers maintain a strong bond without need for corona treatment. I bought these cheap Nested Dolls from (I think) the Rocks Market in Sydney. I got them with the intention of re-imagining them as something else. Earlier I'd got some Santa ones, with the same purpose in mind. It seems there are two schools of thought for nested dolls; representing things which are "inside" each other, or things that are simply related. I went for the latter - electronic components.
Here I've started to paint the largest doll.
As part of the team building component of Term 1 Project Management, students are given a box of dollar store objects and a mission: keep a marble moving along a course for as long a time as possible, with it ending up falling into an egg cup. Armed with plastic necklaces, dominoes, bendy straws, a roll of toilet tissue and other priceless objects, teams compete to create the best design to meet the goal. Upon completion, the teams analyze their designs for strengths and weaknesses and process key team dynamic components — How were design decisions made? How were disagreements resolved? How was leadership determined? Did team members contribute equally to the vision and how did they each fare when it came to implementation?

Meccano è costituito da diversi componenti sfusi, profili, schermi, bobine, motori, controller e alimentatori, grazie ai quali è possibile realizzare un apparecchio illuminante completamente personalizzato e di facile assemblaggio. Questo è possibile grazie allo speciale connettore, ideato dai laboratori di Ricerca&Sviluppo di L&S, che si integra perfettamente con le bobine LED, evitando qualsiasi tipo di saldatura, e che permette così di recuperare tutta la bobina. Inoltre, a prodotto finito, sarà anche possibile cambiare idea e sostituire alcuni componenti per variare la temperatura colore, l’intensità della luce, il tipo di schermo, controller o alimentatore. Il tutto senza doversi affidare all’elettricista o a professionisti.

I punti di forza di Meccano sono diversi. A questo si aggiunge la riduzione dei tempi di consegna, che diventano molto rapidi in quanto il prodotto finito può essere realizzato nel momento esatto in cui si crea la necessità di doverlo installare, determinando anche una riduzione dei costi. Infine, la possibilità di cambiare idea. Infatti, grazie agli elementi creati con una logica ad incastro, è sempre possibile smontare il prodotto finito e assemblarlo con altri componenti.

Mating in damselflies, as in dragonflies, is a complex, precisely choreographed process involving both indirect insemination and delayed fertilisation. First, the male has to attract a female to his territory, continually driving off rival males. When he is ready to mate, he transfers a packet of sperm from his primary genital opening on segment 9, near the end of his abdomen, to his secondary genitalia on segments 2–3, near the base of his abdomen. The male then grasps the female by the head with the claspers at the end of his abdomen; the structure of the claspers varies between species, and may help to prevent interspecific mating. The pair fly in tandem with the male in front, typically perching on a twig or plant stem. The female then curls her abdomen downwards and forwards under her body to pick up the sperm from the male's secondary genitalia, while the male uses his "tail" claspers to grip the female behind the head: this distinctive posture is called the "heart" or "wheel"; the pair may also be described as being "in cop".

The black-tailed skimmer, Orthetrum cancellatum, is a European and Asian dragonfly. It occurs nearly all over Europe except northern UK and Scandinavia; to the east, the range extends to Kashmir and Mongolia.
The adult male has a blue abdomen with a black tip and transparent wings, and the female has a yellow (later: brown) body with black bands along the abdomen and transparent wings. Even the immature males look that way.

I've completely reworked the hadware board. The basics remain the FPGA module Terasic, the DE0-Nano. This board contains a lot of I / O lines and is super fast. Everything is on a single-sided PCB. The output transistor drivers ( 20 pieces 500 mA/ 45V outputs ) are in SMD to save board space. The DE0-nano FPGA board is as a Peggy-back board mounted on ther driver PCB. Via the USB connector, the FPGA program can be re-written.

SIMBOLOGÍA
Son varias las interpretaciones que se dan a esta sencilla pero espectacular expresión del carnaval. Unas teorías es que el zumbido de los enormes “polunpak” (cencerros), respondiendo a un antiguo culto, pretende despertar a la tierra, dormida en el periodo invernal. Otras, en cambio opinan que el estruendo pretende alejar pestes y plagas, predisponiendo la tierra para la simiente. Tampoco parece gratuito el modo de sacudir el “isopua” (hisopo) durante la marcha que bien parece quisiera acariciar la tierra. Es como si pretendiese fertilizarla, bendecirla como haría un sacerdote cristiano con su hisopo y agua bendita.
EL CORTEJO
Los actos comienzan el lunes posterior al último domingo de enero, a partir de las once de la mañana y después del correspondiente “amarretako” (almuerzo) el Zanpantzar de Zubieta compuesto por los Joaldunak (joare: cencerro; joal-, en palabras compuestas; -dun: sufijo que indica posesión; -ak: plural: los. Literalmente: "los que tienen cencerros"). inicia su recorrido hacia Ituren recorriendo a orillas del río Ezkurra al pie del monte Mendaur los cuatro km. que les separan de Ituren. Caminan formando dos filas, una a cada lado de la carretera. Lo hacen danzando rítmicamente, con severa precisión, imprimiendo un curiosísimo movimiento a sus caderas y haciendo sonar los grandes cencerros de manera acompasada. Llegados a Ituren el Mayordomo pedirá el consiguiente permiso para entrar en el pueblo, conseguido éste los de Zubieta entraran en el pueblo, sumándose a las cuadrillas de “mozorroak” y recorriendo sus calles para desembocar en la plaza. Al día siguiente la visita se repetirá a la inversa. En ambas poblaciones el “Zanpantzar” visita la “Herriko Ostatua” (taberna del pueblo) donde se les ofrecen las “Puskas”, (presentes en forma de embutido, queso, vino, etc).
Antaño el “Zanpantzar” solía visitar la vecina localidad de Doneztebe, para lo cual debían cruzar el pueblo de Elgorriaga, por este motivo pedían permiso a su alcalde, a través de su mayordomo le preguntaban si quería que cruzasen sus dominios en silencio o haciendo sonar los cencerros. Si en aquel momento había algún difunto en el pueblo, los disfrazados tenían que atravesarlo en total silencio. Mas si no había tal difunto, la comparsa lo hacia haciendo sonar los cencerros con su acostumbrada habilidad. www.ahari.org/esp/ituren.htm
