Class 313 is the most usual commuter train around JR Central area.

A class 31 heads to Stratford on Avon at Wilmcote.

I think the 31 was sent as support for a steam special, hence the numbers of people at the station.

Unfortunately I have no further details for this image taken by my late father Douglas Tomes.

A sequence 3 photos of 73029 taken at Bournemouth Central.

Although 73029 has a rear lamp on its front buffer beam the neg. frame numbers show it is, in fact, coming off shed.

One of six negs. acquired together the only information was 'Weymouth 1963'. However, those taken in Weymouth are clearly later and as 34084 was a Bournemouth engine from the end of May to the beginning of November 1963 when it went to Exmouth Junction I'm guessing this sequence of 73029 was taken during that time.

Class of 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010 (Casa del Mar, Shutters on the Beach, Viceroy Hotel)

For class we were to contemplate our shot and pay attention to MOOD in your shot.

I suppose the MOOD I was trying achieve threw this shot would be warmth and general over happiness. I totally dig the golden tones of the evening sunshine how it is stilled all threw this shot. The yellow flower (weed) also (to me) signifies warmness. The warmness of Summertime. The summertime that is about to move on into Fall. Good Bye Summer~

There was not to much done to this shot on the editing side. Just a slight crop and straighten then a slight color boost.

Pysanky or Ukrainian Easter egg decoration uses a specialized tool called a Kistka.

Patterns are drawn directly onto the egg with wax in a resist method of dying similar

to batik. Individual creativity is encouraged but there will also be the opportunity to

be guided through all of the steps to making a pysanka with a traditional design. Students

will take home their completed egg and a kistka kit.
