These were examples the class instructor brought for us to view. Here was the class description:

"Learn how to easily and cheaply produce small tokens, jewelry and dress accessories the way it was done in the Middle Ages. Students will learn about the use of pewter tokens, badges and trinkets in the 14th and 15th centuries, and will have the opportunity to produce a small piece of their own, carving a soapstone mold and casting it themselves. Instructors will provide soapstone for a mold, metal for casting, all tools, dust masks and a handout of period examples."

So I admit that I've gone a bit overboard with stud.io, and I built a class 68. The headlights are missing, because I could not make them fit in without the front looking derpy. The livery is simple as I'm not building the DRS compass out of Lego - I'm only slightly insane!

The model class 150/1 is a repainted standard Bachmann offering.

The model has been backdated to as delivered condition by moving the air horns and adding a battery box under the driver's window.

The original valances have been rebuilt with Evergreen strip. Finally a driver figure has been added and the destination blind altered to suit my model.

A light weathering in due course will complete the model.
