Siemens Desiro Class 360 4 car 25kV Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) 360107 creeping through the countryside at the rear of the 12 car 1Y32 17:58 (18:45 RT at KEL) Abellio Greater Anglia London Liverpool Street- Ipswich service train northbound at Church Street Level Crossing on the Great Eastern Main Line near Kelvedon in Essex (UK).
Class 24 24045 is pictured, awaiting its fate, at Swindon Works, on October 26th 1976. It was eventually cut-up in December of that year.
Preserved English Electric Type 1 'Chopper' Class 20 Bo-Bo diesel locomotive 20205 with 20189 behind at Wymondham Abbey Halt on the Mid Norfolk Railway in Norfolk (UK).
20205 was built at the English Electric Vulcan Foundry Newton le Willows as British Railways Type 1 D8305 in 1967 and withdrawn from service on December 18th 1989.
The English Electric Type 1 Class 20 locomotives were first introduced onto British Railways in 1957.
20205 and 20189 were both guest locomotives at the MNR courtesy of Michael Owen and the Class 20 Locomotive Society.

With its first class saloon downgraded to second, Class 108 Driving Trailer Second Lavatory (DTSL) and Motor Brake Second 53606, were stood in the carriage sidings at Southport on August 29th 1988. 54196 had an unusually small BR emblem that looked as though it was part of a West Yorkshire PTE logo without the 'Metro Train' branding.
Another Majorette Premium single which managed to escape from all that fancy packaging into the basic range was this superb latest generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class. It now meant all this realism and accuracy could all be yours for less than the price of a HW and MBX but twice the features! One of many bought from Morrisons back in September 2016. Mint and boxed.

The VT24 (class 624) 3-car DMU units were delivered between 1964 and 1968 being built jointly by MAN and Waggonfabrik Uerdingen. They were often used for fast regional and express trains in various parts of Germany. This changed gradually and by 1980 nearly all of the units were based in Osnabrück und Braunschweig, performing duties on regional and local lines. Regional and local passenger traffic in the Harz region was carried out almost exclusively by these trainsets, although the last members finished their days based at Osnabrück. On 2nd June 1972 an unidentified set is seen passing Michelau forming a southbound service to possibly Nuremburg I guess. Given the cost of transparency film at the time and my prime objective of seeking out steam traction, a transparency featuring a DB unit is something of a rarity in my collection!

Freightliner Class 59 No.59204 passes Willand,with the 15:57 Exeter Riverside to Whatley Quarry working,on the 17th of January 2023.
Class 50 stable mate 1807 is in charge of the 0825 Barreiro-Villa Real de San Antonio service. The family resemblance is unmistakable.
