I took this shot whilst window hanging from the 0635 Bristol Plymouth 1V18 with Neptune at the head. 50006 had not long been out of Doncaster after her mid life overhaul and we were just about to attack rattery bank from a standing start when Exeter raced through at the head of 0624 Penzance Paddington 1A15. Typical Bath Road allocated engine, I think all locos look much better with a healthy dollop of grime and Bath Road had a real shortage of Fairy Liquid for as long as i could remember. Note the milk tanks.

This was around the time Class 60s replaced pairs of Class 37s on these trains and this is the first time I saw a Class 60 on the branch. I never been back to the line since but will make the effort again one day as the scenary is superb.

Well this is all a bit last minute (late like second class post I guess!!) I had a lone idea this week, an american style postbox someone in the village has - when I actually got up close it was a very uninteresting tin box too far into his garden to take a macro of ~ urrh! Nearly gave up but decided to have a play using two letters that came through my 'mailbox' today, put back in for some tie in to the theme! HMM
"All other ships, head for that opening."
I have not actually seen Wrath of Khan (blasphemy, I know) so this model is based on the Miranda Class refits in DS9. Like always, to the same scale as the Enterprise set (and now to the Defiant as well).
I saw somewhere that the 1x1 plate with handle was released in light bley in a limited edition Jurassic World set. Can anyone confirm?
