The diesel locomotive 202.020 was built by Anglo-Franco-Belge and EMD in 1955, initially for the Belgian Railways SNCB. During the construction of these locomotives (Class 202 and 203, later 52 and 53) four of them were sold to Luxembourg Railways (numbers 202.019 - 202.022), where they formed the series 1601-1604. The planned 202.020 wa finally the 1602. After being decommissioned in 1996, this locomotive was acquired by Marklin, who sold it in 1998 to the Belgian association Patrimoine Ferroviaire et Tourisme/Toerisme en SpoorPatrimonium (PFT/TSP). It was painted in the original colors -and with correspondingly number- that should have taken if he had served in the SNCB.
