In het weekend van 14 & 15 april vond het stoomfestival plaats van "Chemin de Fer Touristique de la Vallée de L'Aa.

Op vrijdag 13 april werd er een fotodag georganiseerd voor de fotografen. Er zouden 5 treinparen ingezet worden met als hoofdact een goederentrein.

 

BB63852 zorgde voor de overbrenging van de "Eqiom" cement wagons voor de foto goederentrein. Foto is gemaakt in station Arques.

RD22072st. Blake Hall Station on the Epping Ongar Railway was once the least used station on the London Underground. London Transport closed it in 1981 as it was only used by 17 passengers a day.

 

It is now a private residence and, although giving the appearance of a working station, all trains pass through non-stop.

Elle se situait sous le feu de la chaudière et permettait d'éclaircir le feu en faisant tomber la cendre.

It is a steam locomotive grating.

It was located under the fire of the boiler and allowed to clear the fire by making the ash fall.

SNCF: the Cerdagne narrow gauge line is one of the most picturesque railways in France. Known with the nickname of "Train Jaune" or "Canari", it has a length of 62.5 km, metric gauge and is electrified with a third rail at 850 V DC. It was commissioned between 1910 and 1927.

 

The first train of the morning is ready to depart for Villefranche-Vernet-les-Bains. It consists of three Z 100 railcars, a ZRBDq 20000 closed trailer, and two ZRBX 20030 open trailers.

(EN) On 31/03/2015. prevaled true April weather, sun and clouds alternated constantly. Upon the arrival of 3015 at the photo point, the long straight at Hum-Lug, the sun was covered by clouds. The local train from Varazdin to Zagreb was hauled by 2044 004 and as usual consisted five compartment cars, one of them also one of the very rare cars in the turquoise paint scheme.

 

(DE) Am 31.03.2015. herrschte wahres Aprilwetter, Sonne und Wolken wechselten sich ständig ab. Bei der Ankunft des 3015 an der Fotostelle, der langen Gerade bei Hum-Lug, verdeckte selbstverständlich die Fotowolke von Dienst die Sonne. Der Regionalzug von Varazdin nach Zagreb wurde gezogen von der 2044 004 und wie gewohnt zusammengesetzt aus fünf Abteilwagen, mit von der Partie auch einer der sehr seltenen Wagen in der türkisen Farbgebung.

 

Exactly one year ago we visited the French national railway museum le Cité du Train in Mulhouse.

 

Based on the 1930 ex-PLM 4-8-2 four cylinder compound prototype, 241 P 16 was one of a class of 35 introduced by SNCF in 1948 to work Le Mistral between Paris and Marseilles. After electrification they were transferred to other regions and all were withdrawn by 1973. After running on the Le Mans to Nantes route 16 was the last to be withdrawn from Le Mans and preserved at Mulhouse.

These vehicles were used on overnight mail trains and the mail was sorted for various destinations as the train travelled through the night. The pigeon holes for sorting the mail can be seen on the right. The destinations were written above the various pigeon holes and these would be changed to new destinations as the train proceeded along its route.

 

The TPOs also carried apparatus that enabled the sorted mail to be dropped off at various stations en route without stopping the train and, at the same time, mail from those stations would be picked up, also while the train was still travelling at speed.

La 030 TU 22 lorsqu'elle était encore chez le ferrailleur de Montmagny (95), sur la Grande Ceinture de Paris le 2 mars 1975.

SNCF: a suburban train passes through Clichy-Levallois. It has a consist of six double-decker cars of the VB2N type, pushed by a Class BB 17000 electric locomotive.

1984/08/25.06. A mixture of SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) and BLS (Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon Railway) rolling stock at Brig on a rather damp and dismal afternoon. At the front is an SBB Re4/4 II Bo-Bo electric locomotive.

RD24255(vid). The Grade II listed Aberystwyth Cliff Railway, opened in 1896, connects the north end of the promenade to the top of Constitution Hill. It’s 778 feet long and although electrically driven now, it was originally water balanced. The track gauge is 4ft 10ins.

(EN) From the station to the Zabok until the junction Hum-Lug, the regional trains to Gornja Stubica share the route with trains leading to Varazdin / Zagreb. A few minutes after its "great brother", the GM-hauled passenger train 3006 continued the journey towards Varazdin, also appeared the railcar 7121 001, entering as 3214 train the Hum-Lug stop. Shortly thereafter it will leave the mainline and continue its journey on the branch line to Gornja Stubica.

 

(DE) Vom Bahnhof Zabok bis zum Abzweig Hum-Lug teilen sich die Regionalzüge nach Gornja Stubica die Strecke mit den Zügen nach Varazdin/Zagreb. Wenige Minuten nachdem sein „großer Bruder“, der mit GM-Lok geführte Personenzug 3006 seine Fahrt in Richtung Varazdin fortsetzte, erscheinte auch der Triebwagen 7121 001 bei der Einfahrt in die Haltestelle Hum-Lug als Zug 3214. Kurz danach wird er die Hauptstrecke verlassen und seine Fahrt auf der Nebenstrecke nach Gornja Stubica fortsetzen.

(EN) The actually Split-based locomotive 2044 030 came in early May 2015 to Zagreb for a short time. After being stabled for almost a week in the local traction, on the afternoon of 15/05/2015 it got finally a duty on the Varazdin diesel route. Hauling the five-car, nearly fully occupied regional 3012 it's just leaving Hum-Lug stop and will continue its journey towards Varazdin.

 

(DE) Die eigentlich in Split beheimatete 2044 030 kam Anfang Mai 2015 für kurze Zeit nach Zagreb. Nachdem sie eine knappe Woche in der dortigen Zugförderung abgestellt war, kam sie am Nachmittag des 15.05.2015. endlich zum Einsatz auf der Varazdiner Dieselstrecke. Mit dem aus fünf Wagen bestehenden, nahezu voll ausgelasteten Regionalzug 3012 am Haken verlässt sie gerade die Haltestelle Hum-Lug und wird ihre Fahrt in Richtung Varazdin fortsetzen.

SNCF: the electric shunting locomotive 80007 heads a Corail Téoz set, to tow it to the sidings.

 

The Class BB 80000 consisted of twelve locomotives for passenger train shunting, resulting from the transformation of many other BB 8100 series electric locomotives, carried out between 1995 and 1997. They were put out of service between 2002 and 2010.

 

The original BB 8100 series consisted of 172 locomotives (8001 and 8101 to 8271), built by Alsthom, Jeumont-Schneider and Oerlikon between 1948 and 1955.

 

The locomotive of this photo, the BB 80007, is the old BB 8121. It was transformed on April 5, 1996 and put out of service on July 1, 2009.

Nettement plus pittoresque que le train réservé uniquement aux touristes. Du moins à l'époque ( déjà un quart de siècle ! )
