When I received my company's first batch of investment castings for our first products, I inspected them by laying them out on the floor in ranks. Then I photographed them. After machining, these castings will fit the Remington 870.
If you have never created anything and seen it actually mass produced, you have no idea how it felt to see these for the first time.

I re-visited the female Net-casting spider shown below but it was nowhere to be seen. I did however find a male which is smaller and greyer. I hope to get some photos soon for comparison. This shot is the same spider shown below from a slightly different angle and a tighter crop of that scary head.
Of interest are the super sized posterior eyes which have excellent light gathering capability with an aperture equivalent (f/stop) of 0.58 (cat f/0.9 & owl f/1.1). The image is focussed onto a large, light-receptive retinal membrane (which is destroyed at dawn and renewed again each night). The two small saphire and ruby coloured bumps are the anterior eyes. The anterior eyes are the ones that are most developed in jumping spiders (Salticidae), see H. albovittatum above.
Four weeks ago, I uploaded a photo of Kuky and his friends. Dan wrote that, "they should have their own TV show".
Nobody knows what his words can cause.
After week Kuky vanished and returned the day after. Later I was informed, that he attended a competition for a casting in some show or film, I'm not sure about.
I don't know a result, now, but I'm worried that he can be successful.
My lidless eye sent me a photo from the casting taken by..........I don't want to know how.
I'm back to photo editing for FNTMs since... a very long time. X)

The relatively narrow confines of Campbeltown Loch made Davaar a good spot to watch the boats sailing to and from Campbeltown, and fishing in the loch.
Best seen large or original.
