Taken at sunset at Lake Bonney, I was incredibly lucky the clouds came late in the day which creates a bit of drama in the sky. Earlier in the day the sky was almost completely clear blue. I had scouted this spot for a sunset shot months ago, so it was great that nature decided to play along.

Another autumn day. Sun shined through trees and cast lights on the ground when I hiked down from Mt Kearsarge. Phenomenally trees, branches and ground were lit up. Took to use iPhone 17.
An old iron fire escape and ghost sign stand as silent witnesses to a storied past. Relics of a bygone era. Such clues are not just a field of study for professional historians but rather reminders of the fleeting nature of societal assumptions and the lifestyles that are thereby created. Monuments more instructive than a cemetery. A dying town and its founders still speak.
Fishing for a delicious meal is a great summertime passion for many who desire getting outdoors and trying to land one.
You know the fish story....it was this BIG !

Fishing in Brays Bayou. Houston, Texas. Not so sure I would eat fish that came from this urban water channel. But, who knows, maybe I have -- "Eat Local".
Project 365, 2022 Edition: Day 108/365
I cast a sweater on the knitting needles today. This is only the second time I've attempted to knit a sweater. It's for my partner. And it's a stash buster, using a lot of ends of sock yarn left over from his projects. I dumped the balls on the floor tonight to sort colours.
