Casting Glass
Coloured glass with a high lead oxide content for the creation of melted glass sculptures (and much more besides). Melted glass sculptures involve a special creative procedure which, unlike sculpture made from other traditional materials, also makes use of the optical properties of the glass, its transparency or translucency and the play of light.
The glass with a high lead content sold under the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Glass brand has been designed
in order to adhere to all of the special requirements of melted glass technology in a mould. The lead glass complies with a wide range of demands – it is
suitable for the realisation of small-scale items, as well as for very large glass objects. Its characteristic properties are: low viscosity, a low cooling temperature and deformation point, a high surface quality, high dispersion and optical clarity and also excellent properties for working when cold.
We offer casting glass in shape of semicircle casting with a 15% PbO and 48% PbO content.

It adopts Germany imported Rietschle vacuum pump, ultimate vacuum to ensure complete defoaming; the inner tank selects 5mm thick stainless steel plate to effectively prevent rust and easy to clean; specially selects the aviation plug connection line and uses imported sealing glue to effectively guarantee Equipment is airtight.
2. low cost and high efficiency
Using a rapid prototyping part or a CNCed model as a master mold, a high-strength silicone mold is produced under vacuum, then to clone the same replica as the prototype. A silicone mold can replicate about 20 products. The processing speed is more than ten times that of CNC, the processing cost is as low as ten or even dozens of times compared with CNC, which greatly improves production efficiency and greatly reduces the development cost, cycle and risk of direct tooling.

And now for something completely different...
Lately I've been intrigued by how water can be captured in contrast to man-made objects and I need to explore this more. This shot was more of an experiment in that direction. This doesn't quite capture the "brewing" sort of effect that I am looking for in a shot like this, but I liked the way the reflected shadows turned out. To get the effect that I want, I really need to be more at water level. In this situation, I couldn't get to where I needed to be to capture exactly what I wanted.
