This past weekend, my local photoclub held a workshop, one of the activities available was macrophotography of water drops.
The gentleman who loaned me his macro lens and was teaching me the art kept trying to get me to focus on the droplets. But the obsessive search for the perfect combination of composition of droplets, color, and bokeh did nothing for me... What kept catching my attention was trying to capture the ephemeral images floating in the droplets.
These bubbles contain random things that put a smile on my face - in no particular order and in no way the end all.
Being entirely honest, this isn't exactly what I wanted it to turn out like. Maybe I'll try my hand at it again later on :)
I wanted to make something based on what Elaine Duigenan was talking about but different so that it wouldn't be completely copying. I think this image complies with the brief she has set out on he vle ;)
...so this week I thought of cheating on the description of how the image was done... I've decided to make a video...
but after a while a realization hit me - it probably would have been easier to just write it out!
either way here's the link:
A pic a day....
Isn't it funny, kids and bubbles are always fun and never cease to put a smile on your face. Something so simple as water and washing-up liquid can entertain everyone for hours!
Yes, I know the bubbles are blurred, but she was blowing them so fast I couln't keep up with her using my little point and shoot... now, if I'd had my big dslr, it may have been a different story... I may have to try this again with her one day soon!
Hot bubble bath. I thought the running water looked pretty cool in this shot.
No animals were harmed to test this bubble bath product!
Half days = bubble tea! ♥
Hah...My friends took their time walking over, so I ordered way earlier than they did. That resulted in me finishing way before they did.
