New York, Connecticut border south of Kent, Connecticut on the Appalachian Trail. This small stream that was a great provider of ice shots a few months ago is now a great provider of foam/bubble shots.
This little "bubble island" was under a small waterfall and was just spinning around. I wasn't sure if any of the 20 or so shots I took of it would work out but I liked many as they each show a different kind of detail of the bubbles and the debris underneath.
I went to Nanny's yesterday and wanted to do the challenge so she let me use her camera and her set up and told me what to do. I took lots of shots and these are the 4 we liked the best. Then she helped me to make them look better in photoshop. I had a lot of fun. Thank you Nanny!
When it comes to blowing bubbles, the entire family likes to get in on the fun. My sister even has bubble recipes she has taken off of Pinterest and the family likes to experiment with which mixture makes the best bubbles. I prefer to photograph the bubbles, myself.

I know the tub is a bit too big for just the one person but I didn't have time to adjust the tiles.
Testing out bubble materials in Blender, which I was very impressed with. I think that its about time this coloring node I used got moved to trunk!

This was the card I made for Stampin Sue for the Valentine card exchange organized by sweet Anita! I heard from Sue earlier in the week that she's received it and so I wanted to share a pic here.
Didn't I say everything in sight was getting stamped with that yummy envie pattern? Love it! The bunny and bubbles image is a CB embossing folder. I made a letterpress-type (debossed) effect by carefully inking the raised side of the folder, carefully putting in the paper, running it through my machine, and then carefully taking the paper out. Notice my emphasis on carefully: I don't think I'll admit to how very many tries it took for me to get a clean image! Ha! :)

Big thanks again to Anita for organizing this fun exchange! And TFL!
