I shook up my bottle of dish detergent and took a macro of the bubbles sliding down the inside of the bottle.

HSS! Happy Sliders Sunday!
My first black and white image of a meadow with flowers :). I needed many images and an important tip of a friend to get the desired dreamy effect. In LR I decided to create a low key image after I converted it into a black and white image to let the buttercup flowers stand out from the background.

I wanted to use several pine trees as the backdrop to the floating soap bubbles but strong shore breezes made it a challenge. Thanks to Nancy, Kaeli, Ryan, Mariah, and Kammy for their patience as my bubble blowers! This one is Nancy's!
Cette toile était sur le grillage (noir) donnant sur la rue et les maisons d'en face se reflètent dans les gouttes. :-)

Dreams are like bubbles, they come in amazing forms; some colourful while others gigantic. Like bubbles, many burst soon after they are formed, yet there are those that last and while they do, give pleasures to those that chase after it. How do you treat your dreams? Do you burst it or do you chase after it?

Bubble Spiral is a part of a series of spirals created in Ultrafractal 6. . This spiral was created using a brighter color, but I realized it looked a lot better when it was desaturated!
With the temperature at 17 this morning in Woodinville, WA, I thought why not go out and blow some bubbles.
Soap Bubbles, in window light. HMM. I used to make those huge bubbles using joy detergent, glycerin and ? I fun phenomenon for kids of all ages.
Thanks for your comments and favs!
Recipe for bubbles: Glycerin
. Although this recipe created great bubbles, you have to use quite a bit of glycerin to create bubbles that won’t pop quickly. That made this recipe not very cost-effective. Although, glycerin is a good goo-maker for bubbles. So many disposables make for good bubble makers.
1 cup water
2 Tbs Dawn or Joy dish soap
2 Tbs Glycerin

The 5 minute rule for boiling an egg is just right for a dippy egg with toast soldiers. Firm white with a runny yolk, yum!!
