Description: Having fun with bubbles! We made our own bubble mixtures and bubble wands. The best bubble mixture: 1/3 cup dishwashing liquid, 4 cups water, 1-2 tablespoons glycerin.
Like every toddler, Brittney loves blowing bubbles. The weather was so great today that we had to go play outside.

I think you can cleary see that when air is directed into the center of a bubble wand loaded with bubble soap, a bubble will form. I knew you all were dying for me to explain that!!!
Like this? The waistband needs a little tweaking, but I think this is pretty good for a first try. I don't really have any shirts though that my girls can wear with them! They usually only wear dresses.
Bubble Car 55020 was not part of my 1M55 bash but we did get a chance to fot it at Princes Risborough just arrived from Aylesbury.

it is hard to take photo of bubbles... small exposure ..manual focus..flash.. becomes dark image.. then I changed to auto.. still not sharp.. will try again..sometimes later

This past weekend, my local photoclub held a workshop, one of the activities available was macrophotography of water drops.
The gentleman who loaned me his macro lens and was teaching me the art kept trying to get me to focus on the droplets. But the obsessive search for the perfect combination of composition of droplets, color, and bokeh did nothing for me... What kept catching my attention was trying to capture the ephemeral images floating in the droplets.
Assignment for Week 2: Photograph an object 5 ways, including one that shows the object's purpose and one the instructor would never have seen...Tough assignment!
