I seem to keep posting pets this week, which is odd. Bubble is my three (or 2 and 3/4) legged cat. She was photographed for the Take Aim group challenge: Four Legged Friends. She was sitting in front of a window with light pouring through it; not placed on a white BG.
Bubble is terribly spoiled and waits to be carried up and down the stairs, although she can do it herself. She also has an affinity for good bed linens; both sleeping on them and clawing her way up them (The issue is with both back feet and one leg. She's developed strong shoulders and front legs.) She is, shockingly, nine years old this month and still my little buddy.

Sat in the garden with a bottle of Aspall's 2012 Imperial Cyder.....and one thing leads to another....as it does.
Somehow I seem to end up with faces when I try to photograph bubbles. *LOL* What you're looking at here is bubbly and viscous hand sanitizer lotion poured into a glass beaker and placed on top of a light table, so lighting is actually from below. The picture was taken with the SuperMacro setting on the camera.

Am I running out of things to take pictures of? Or maybe just losing my mind? :-D Maybe my kids are right....I take pictures of everything.
I spotted these bubbles in the sink the other day when I was doing dishes, and I couldn't resist.
My top bubble sidekick Clover gets married! We couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a few bubbles. :-)
Lighting was great though I forgot to bring my own camera. Thanks to Mike Donlin for coming to the rescue

In 1912 lumber baron, Simon Benson, donated $10,000 to the City of Portland, Oregon to install 20 drinking fountains. They became know as Benson Bubblers. A teatotaler, Benson hoped that the fountains would keep his lumberjacks out of the taverns. There are now 41 Benson Bubblers, most located in the downtown area of Portland. This exception is located in front of Benson High School. In 1916, Benson gave the Portland School District $100,000 to help fund the building of a polytechnic school, which became Benson Polytechnic High School.

Bubbles flew at the Harbourfront Center this past weekend as kids of all ages took part in Newmindspace's annual bubble battle.

Bubble tea is a fun drink at coffeehouses, and lots of coffee houses prepare it differently.
This particular variation is milk based, with black Tapioca ''bubbles'', served with colorful straws (which the bubbles freely travel up to the mouth in).
Fun flavors and colors, and can be served in either a to go cup you mix yourself, or in a glass (and you get to pick the straw).
