A scene from the command centre of a Cylon Basestar? Not quite. It's an eye-catching display at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, Ontario, featuring several tubes of water with air bubbles migrating slowly up to the ceiling.

 

Incidentally, BSG fans should understand the reference. For those that don't watch the show... well, what's your excuse? ;)

Bubble Football Ball - www.holleyweb.com/news/bubble-football-ball-a-141.html - It is a game played like football but with the usage of zorb to each player. In Germany it is called Loopyball, but in parts of Europe they name it as bubble football or bubble football. The game was actually for recreational purposes only but has seen a number of tournaments that has been initiated by enthusiasts.

I liked the raindbow it formed when pressure was applied.

Vista Mahan demonstrated the Bubbling technique using some kind of metal grid to poke wet fabric through. After the fabric dried, she ironed fusible interfacing to the back side to stabilize it before removing it from the grid. A unique technique to add texture to a project.

From my desk at work I blow bubbles every chance I get.
