Bubbles.

Bubbles were blown instead of rice thown at a friends wedding in San Diego

I was experimenting with ice, water and a bunch of secret ingredients and devices. =)

As result I've got some wallpaper-like photos.

It wasn't easy with the thing I made to make the bubble in one hand and the camera in the other!

After searching the internet for bubble mixture I found one mixed it up and it seems to have worked, I did have a problem with the strength of the wind so probably not as good as may have been though!

Strobist info: Einstein 640 subject left through socked beauty dish and 3'x4' scrim. Einstein 640 subject right and up @ 45 degrees with red gel.

After a good rain, the bubbles of rust on this huge metal pump was amazing!

I've felt poorly all day :( so I'm pleased I was even able to take a photo. Something simple; bubbles of Dettol Anti-Bacterial Cleaner (close at hand "just in case") in a green plastic container lit by two green-gelled strobes behind and at either side of the subject (@ 1/16 power) and taken with my 2nd favourite lens, the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro USM.
