This Rustic Sourdough bread, made by my wife has just come out of the oven and if we had sound, you would hear it crackling. Cant wait for lunch, with some strong cheese, tomatoe and onion, MMMMM....

HMM (possibility)...the theme for macromondays for 5/13 is "a spoonful" and one must stay within the parameters of size while still showing at least a portion of the bowl of the spoon and the contents. if i decide to go with this one, i may crop it down just a little, although it is under 3 inches in all directions. the theme's explanation can be found here:

when i spotted this tray of bead pudding, i was immediately transported back to a memory of my dad who had this story/joke that he never really finished telling because it would crack him up every time he tried ~grin~

Half plain, half wholemeal flour. The oval one has walnuts in.
I have put half the rolls and the walnut bread in the freezer.

Some folks in Morocco still bake bread the traditional way. Clay ovens. I once built one while camping in the Atlas mountains, The bread is just the best.
I stopped into a bakery off Royal York Road when I forgot to pick up bread yesterday. ( my regular bakery closes on Mondays) Quite fortunate as I spotted this rare Maserati Biturbo Spyder, the only one I've seen !I thought it was a TC at first though I'm familiar with the rare Biturbo coupe. Thes are powered by a nice sounding V6, this is likely the 2.5l version.
I love rye bread. It's hard to get really good one, so I bake it myself, with organic stoneground whole grain rye flour and lots of caraway seeds.
