I've seen so many of these cute sleeping bags pouches, that I just had to give it a try! Really quick and easy to do. For the zipper I used a 60" duvet zipper and only used one side. The exterior fabric is actually a table napkin!
This is the tutorial-

My September finish for ALYOF - a tote bag for my niece's birthday. It's in the mail to her now, so I hope she likes it!

This is my favorite bag, shopper for everyday and for weekendtrips. It was part of an art project of Klaus Littmann www.klauslittmann.com/projekte/frontside-basel-2001. After the exhibition I bought this bag made from the material in Beyeler Museum in Basle www.beyeler.com/index.html. The whole bag: www.flickr.com/photos/rvoegtli/4690841587/

Here is the wonderful bag I received in the swap, made by Maya (http://hobby.pavanashree.org/).
Her lovely card reminded me I sent my bag off unaccompanied by any message. Oops.
as per Sara's free pattern, with minor changes

I was supposed to head back to PA tonight, but due to the weather we didn't. I have an Airport Extreme, a pair of shoes, shirt, pants, camera, headphones. This bag just swallows it up.
Kevin Mellow & Doug Elliot, rear field of the Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School.
To my surprise Mellow actually follows my photostream and looks at my photos. I'd gone to visit them coaching a rugby team that ended with me using Joel Graham's camera to take photos of the soccer game on the other field. My photography skills sure didn't go to waste on this visit.
Another funny coincidence was the fact that I wore a purple shirt, which is the school's colors and which is probably why I was able to take close up photos of the girls soccer team without being approached by people looking at me suspiciously. And my water bottle in my bike there is purple, which Mellow ended up drinking - funnily enough, the water in the bottle had come from the water fountain at Merivale High School (where he used to teach) when I'd biked to see Fred there the previous week.
Funnily enough (I know) when I added this onto the map the satellite imagery had been taken before the school and grounds were built, so this is positioned in the middle of a forest on the map.
I shot a wedding on Sunday and this is how I packed my bag. If I did it again, I'd ditch the 100mm macro for the 430EX flash, which I had to carry in a different bag.
Lined tote bag, made from Ikea print and solid fabrics.
This bag is a mix of the Simple Tote in Patchwork + Quilted Gifts and the one in Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing.
I really like the simple lines and the combination of the Black and White print with the beige solid !
It was a great project for a beginner like me !
A mini lined drawstring bag using the tutorial from In Colour Order.
This one measured about 4"x7"x2" and was perfect for my daughter's friendship band kit, although a little wider might have been preferable!
Blogged here.
My Frankenbag (tote bag w frankenstein screenprinted on it) has seen better days, so I decided to try out making my own bag!
I'm pretty happy with how it came out considering I didn't really know what I was doing haha.
Fleece outside, felt details, cotton print lining. :D
I can take custom orders for monster bags like this as well! They'll be going for around $50+ship

My denim skirt bag. It has a long shoulder strap (not pictured) because I was trying to get the detail. The washer took off the iron-on appliques but I re-iron'd them after and am going to sew them on so they stay next time.
A drawstring pouch combining crocheting, knitting and cotton print fabric.
This bag has forest greens and little flowers. I was thinking about fairy tales and flower fairies when making this bag. This could belong to a fairy that wants to keep her treasures safe during the flight!
Height from the center point of the bottom to the top edge: appr. 9,5 inch (24 cm) Circumference: appr. 10,5 inch (26 cm)
The bottom of the bag is crocheted from estonian wool.
The middle part is knitted from estonian wool.
The top and the string are sewn from cotton fabrics.
