Bag made from recycled textile and offcuts for a drawstring.
Filled with reclaimed Tiny Ted Book, a little egg containing necklace and ring, plus little undressable doll and dog.
Topped off with a couple of Fairtrade Chocolate Coins.
GUIX MEDIEVAL. Excursió per la rodalia de Súria (Bages), al paratge de les Guixeres i Sant Pere del Puig, on des de l'edat mitjana es van explotar els estrats de guix. Vestigis de construccions, forns i pedreres ens parlen de la importància econòmica d'aquesta explotació.

Després vam pujar al Puig de Sanç (1613 m), el cim més alt del terme de Súria, amb una vista esplèndida, i baixàrem a dinar al llogaret de Cererols, on visitàrem l'església romànica i rememoràrem Joan Fàbrega de Cererols, pagès del segle XVI i XVII, enterrat allí i que ens va deixar un interessantíssim "Llibre de coses que han succeït a Catalunya i en altres parts del món".

My first knitting project. I didn't want to just make a scarf so I sewed the edges together, added lining & a handle and now I have a bag to carry my knitting stuff.
this is a beautiful ribbed fabric with cotton appliqued on. the inside is also a funky print cotton.the strap is extra long and on the inside it has a large pocket on one side and 4 small ones on the other all closed with velcro.i also put one on the back of the bag closed with velcro for money and keys.
i can make one for you with this style but they will differ in looks due to the nature of the bag.
Kit bag includes waxed cotton bag, cotton gloves, PH pen, bone folder, micro spatula, mechanical pencil (with extra lead and erasers), processing notebook, plasti-clips, eraser, knife and measuring tape
I made this out of random fabric I got in the bargain bin at Ikea, and lined it with a bedsheet that had a hole in it. Another upcycling triumph!
The shower bag is set on the bubble wrap for 2 reasons. 1st is to reduce heat loss to the ground from the bag and 2nd is to attempt to reflect more heat onto the bag's surface.
I've only used the bag a few times because truth be told, I procrastinated with finishing the lining & attaching the handles. But, the few people that have seen it in action as a bag, have raved about it.
In August, I visited with Robin Blakney-Carlson www.luckystonestudio.com/home.htm While at her studio, I worked on one of Robin's signature bags. She convinced me to use Finn wool that she had just received & I am so glad I did
When it was almost completed, my MIL saw it and loved it, so I completed it for her. Hence, the handle was done up....
Monogram pouch, 8"X7" w/ zippered closure. Outside is a black canvas & has a striped cotton fabric lining.
