Lunch Bag

the workroom

Toronto, ON

April 2016

I just got it and I love it! Its the type of bag I've always been looking for.

Christmas Morning 2008

When I was still in school, I'd have a few notebooks, a Pokemon folder, and a planner. Now that I've graduated, it's a lot more spacious.

Cleaning my bag, decided to showcase what was in it for the "What's In My Bag" group

A knitted bag which has been embellished with thread, fabric and machine embroidery.

The label is an old theatre ticket which has been adapted.

Took things out of my bag to complete a 30-day journaling project.

The contents of my bicycle saddle bag. Roughly left to right:

Seat bag.

CO2 cartridges (16 gram threaded)

Inflator (for use with threaded CO2 cartridges)

Glueless patches.

Adjustable wrench / spanner for wheel removal

Tube

Tire levers x 2

Chainring wrench

Topeak Alien multitool

The Alien is usually overkill, but I have had opportunity to use the knife and even the chain breaker. Allen wrenches is usually all I need.

I own the chainring tool because I've actually needed it on the road, believe it or not. I don't need it anymore, though.

I made pouches to coordinate with some of the recent tote bags I made with my easy tote bag tutorial.

I generally carry round this lot, plus the Nikon D3100 I'm using to take this and the attached Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G lens ^_^

Disclaimer: I do not, repeat do not, carry round a steaming "wet" Mocha on a daily basis!

magic treetop bag

pattern by tiny owl knits

My mom requested a swimming bag for her birthday so this is what I came up with. I didn't use a pattern. I got the outer vinyl fabric from my local fabric shop, and the inner vinyl fabric and strap webbing from fabric.com

Keven, aka Blksunshine's bagged mkV GTI on beautiful Schmidt TH Lines. I took this one back in the spring/early summer but just edited it now.

D700, 135mm f/2 DC @ f/2.8, iso 200.

Not my typical bag contents. Usually a blank book, a zillion more pens, ibuprofen, random scraps of paper, and other "junk."

Love this reversible bag. The straps are adjustable on both sides so I can have either a simple tote bag or a sling bag. Tutorial from: www.elsiemarley.com/the-awesome-bag-luvinthemommyhood.html

The cheapest way to assemble these paper bag albums I could find.

A long-strapped hand bag combining crocheting, knitting and cotton print fabric.

Inspired by the old textiles, I have crocheted this hand bag with many details.

I love to combine knitting to crochet so this bag has some delicate knitting as well. The motif stripes have been carefully hand knitted between the crochet parts.

The crochet has been lined with good quality cotton fabric.

The straps have been filled with a thin wadding. The straps have stylish patchwork decoration which is best shown in the third photo.

The bag closes with a hand made button.

Height of the bag: appr. 7 inches (18 cm)

Width of the bag: appr. 10,5 inches (27 cm)

Length of the strap: appr. 45 inches (114 cm)

The bag is crocheted and knitted from estonian wool.

The wadding used in the straps is a cotton and polyester mix.

All fabrics used are 100 % cotton.

The button is made from polymer clay.

The remains of a Pathmark shopping bag in woods, a chain that has left this area.

Made using the March 2015 Bag of the Month Pattern by Noodlehead.

I bought this bag at the Instituto de Artesanias Oaxaquenas in the city of Oaxaca, but I do not know where it was made. I have never seen another like it. The bottom is made from a woven palm basket. The top is made of a rough burlap fabric, and the strap and laces are leather. A mystery.

Featuring the new Fringe bag and Concho Feather Side Zip Boot.

Handmade Bag with inner pocket. A great bag for carrying your sport shoes, school books or anything you need for a day at the beach. Just the right size for your 15''6 laptop too! Suitable for bike riding. The bag measures at 35cm (13.7") wide by 48cm (18.9") tall, with straps. A 100% cotton outside back pack/cinch sack and black nylon inside. There is one large main compartment and a inner pocket with a magnet. If you'd like this design on a different color bag, just let me know.
