A few weeks back, I was in Niagara on the Lake. I was shooting a few windows but I did like this shot.
Happy Window Wednesday
There are pictures dating back to 1890 with this same building on this corner in St. Augustine, FL
Happy Window Wednesday!
Today Gerrie was at the front window (he doesn't do that often) so I grabbed my A99 and I took his picture. Barry joined in as well. I snapped a few.
Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday
This abandoned house in Lancaster County, Virginia doesn’t look too bad. It has a wonderful diamond shaped window above the door. A number of houses in this area are built in this style and have a decorative window like this. This house also has lightening rods on the roof.
The house could use the services of a good gardener. It also needs new windows and doors and a new paint job on the trim and the house. HWW
Berlin- Mitte Potsdamer Platz 🇺🇦💙💛🇪🇺
#windowwednesday

The course of the former Berlin Wall is generally indicated on the pedestrian path by small plaques. Sometimes people spot it, most of the time we pass the signs without noticing them. These stelae stand at intervals in Berlin-Mitte. On Potsdamer Platz, next to the stele, there are several parts of the Wall with information about the history of the Wall, a trauma for many Berliners, the consequences of which many only became aware when the Wall fell.
Today, Potsdamer Platz is once again a much-visited place.
Let us hope that the Russian aggressor will end the senseless war in Ukraine as soon as possible and that the people of Ukraine can live in peace again. War must be outlawed by the international community.
I wish you, dear friends, a peaceful time. Thank you for your visit and continue to be mindful and healthy.

Window of our cottage on Lewis and Harris offering the most wonderful view over a bay and little islets . Certainly a view I could grow acustomed to awake to :)
Happy Window Wednesday!
I love taking photos at night. There is such a bit of piece along with less traffic. Everything has this quiet feeling to it.
Happy Window Wednesday
I think Earl and Daryl may be working on this house. They are obviously having trouble deciding what to do about the siding. If you look on the porch you will see wooden siding, plywood and some kind of newer siding on the right side. The bay window still has the water shield paper over the plywood. The whole house needs scraped and painted and the gutters need work.
I would have said this house looks abandoned, especially the upper floor. However, it has Christmas decorations up, so I think it is occupied. HWW!

I do not know if these toys can be considered to have windows, but I am going with it.
Happy Window Wednesday
Earl Young began construction of this breathtaking house in 1928; however, lost the house during the Great Depression. He did not regain possession of the house until 1937 which he completed construction of the property in the early 1940s. It's called Boulder Manor.
Happy Window Wednesday.
This is an old house a couple of hundred feet from an inlet off the Rappahannock River. A few months ago there was a lot of lumber sitting out front. It looks like some boards have been replaced and they have repainted the house. The windows still need some work, but it is starting to look really good. I love the porch swing. HWW!

I think I won't have time to visit the Festival of Lights this year, but there are still a few captures from the 2018 festival in my archives, eagerly waiting to be uploaded ;-). This is one of them taken at Potsdamer Platz with the Ritz Carlton Hotel on the left, the P5 Business Center (right), and the entrance to Potsdamer Platz station.
HWW and Happy Hump Day, Everyone :-)
