I hope this isn't cheating under the Window Wednesdays group, but the 3 windows together looked so good.
Thank you for your favourites. :O)
When I shot this reflective scene in the back window of a Ford pickup truck, I had no idea what a "toughbed" was!
Still not sure, but thought the composition was interesting,
to say the least!
Happy Window Wednesday, everyone!
Every little thing
I remember every little thing
I'm haunted by the memories of
Every little thing
The high, the hurt, the shine, the sting
Every little thing....

Upstairs at the badly decaying Fading Beauty House.Three years ago a friend of mine was confronted by the 80+ year old owner who said he was hoping to renovate the old farmhouse. It has continued to decay-much to the delight of rural decay photographers-and I'm not sure that anything can be done for the old girl.It appears he was not "haunted by the memories" enough...
The music video for "Every Little Thing" by Carly Pearce,a great young country singer who deserves wide attention...

The folks in the City of Ithaca, NY, are very artistic, and there are murals all over the place. This is a new one!
An old limestone wall provides a look through to the mews in the lovely town of Elora.

The bungalow right across the street. They use all vintage Christmas decorations they have collected over the years. It looks better than this shot of it!
Another repeat from last year first in the comments section!
Once again trying some ICM's in my yard as it's just too cold for venturing. Ahh but Saturday a week in Cancun. This was shot through my garage window.
Shutter speed, aperture and ISO....what will your mix of blinds be? Apologies to my flickr friends if I haven't commented on your shots or followed up on your kind comments. My back is still giving me hell but have started treatment. Take care everyone, thanks for your kind wishes.

The shades of blues in the windows of the city in the late afternoon of winter. I liked the triangular shapes in the structure and the bare branches of the trees. The photo was taken during the FFM visit to the city earlier this month. Using my Lensbaby. Happy Window Wednesday

I love this stained glass kitchen window. It is in a house in downtown Ithaca, NY Some of the houses downtown are quite old.

I haven't had much of a chance to take photos this horrible few weeks past. I miss not having a HWW or a HFF shot to share. Silly old woman ...
So still exhausted from last week, I grabbed a camera this morning ... last year I had posted a HWW shot of the house across the street. Abandoned ... as the nice young fellow that had bought this horrible house to fix it up and flip it ... well ... he lost it to foreclosure. So, it was half done and empty ... abandoned.
Now the past couple of months a nice guy from Portugal bought it and FINISHED it! It's beautiful. Empty for a time, getting ready to sell it I guess!
So this young man rescued it and fixed it all up beautifully. Here's a shot across the street this morning from my front porch. This is the corner window! My blooming Crepe Myrtle (one of the best things in Central Florida in dead of summer) are in the foreground.
I'm counting my blessings ...
Martin helps me a lot with my computer. This time he had assisted me in Windows upgrade with his tail and paws at the keyboard .
Utrecht begint steeds futuristischer te worden. Links het grote witte gebouw is het stadhuis, daarachter het WTC en daarachter “de Gijp” de hoogste woontoren in Utrecht met 30 etages.

Last Saturday I pretended to be in England, celebrating my birthday! We began at the exquisite JMW Turner exhibit which was generously loaned to the Mystic Seaport Museum
from the Tate in Liverpool.
We continued down the road apiece, having dinner at this magnificent English Style pub, across from a beautiful marina!
Circa 1754, it is known as one of New England's best, most romantic restaurants! In the late 1700's it was a welcome landmark for weary travelers between NY and Boston, dining and being entertained by Captain Daniel Packer!

All of this only 15 minutes from our home! Blessed be!
