Happy WW .

I love the owl, but unfortunately, it was plastic!

I don't know why he would reflecting. Not muchchanges in his life really.

Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday

My second favourite beach, Porthmeor, has these houses / artists' studios backing onto it. The houses, and windows, are all different. There was a sea mist blowing in at this point in time. The weather was atrocious but on Porthmeor, everything feels right

This magnificent glasshouse is situated in Muckross gardens, Killarney National Park. Oddly enough I'm really struggling to find any useful information online as to when it was built etc although it seems to be Edwardian? Sadly it isn't open to the public but I did peer through the windows & there are some fabulous plants & cacti inside. If you zoom in to look just below & left of the white patch you'll see the tall cactus in my next photo HWW!

Happy Window Wednesday

While shooting the sunrise shots over the marina I had this thought, what's it doing to the buildings behind me. So, I turned around and shot this. There aren't a lot of tall buildings as this town is no stranger to hurricane's

I've been working from home for about a year now, since March 19, 2020. I sort of miss people but mostly not...I really like my hermit-like ways. :-) What I do miss most is seeing the ocean everyday from my office window and wandering the downtown streets at lunch finding bright coloured houses just waiting to be photographed.

While out for a drive this Sunday, I saw this shed on the side of the road and pulled over. I just love the combination of wood, windows, a little weather, and a bright colour. It wasn't downtown St. John's but it is still, beyond a shadow of a doubt, one of my favourite type of photographs to get no matter where I go!

So very happy to be here on Window Wednesday and to be halfway through the work week. Have a good one all!!

One of Earl Youngs homes back cottage for guests.

Although I took this shot in Michigan, it represents the kind of midsummer we're having here in Connecticut - hazy, hot, and humid.

Happy Window Wednesday all!

My husband and I made a stop at this interesting little spot in a small mountain town. I noticed this window framed by these impressive icicles and had to take a shot! Many of our mountain towns got tons of snow and very cold temps and on the rare day when it was warm enough to melt it left these huge and sometimes dangerous icicles.

Seems like a good place to hang out but in Newfoundland wind it didn't stay here long and I ended up chasing that red leaf until I lost it.

HWW ! : ) #Window Wednesdays

Just beautifully overgrown windows of a house around my corner :) If you zoom in, you can see bunches of blue, ripe grapes on the wild vine at the center :)

Happy Window Wednesday, and Happy Hump day, too, Everyone! Stay safe, take care!

Part of the refurbished greenhouse reflected in the old gardening shed at Harkness Memorial State Park, Waterford, CT.

I really liked the way someone has decorated this boarded up window. The lintel is attractive too. Happy Window Wednesday everyone!

Down on Rio Grande, Albuquerque.

Found on a beach on Random Island. This is definitely someones sanctuary. Another view can be seen here.

Happy Window Wednesday all!!

I took this photo in London through the window of the top a double decker bus. I liked the way the old building was nestled between the two newer ones.

I will be out of town all day Wednesday, so unfortunately won't have time to comment. I will catch up with you all on Thursday!

Hope is the thing with feathers

That perches in the soul

And sings the tune without the words

And never stops at all.

Another water taxi on the Spree, taken from the opposite Spree bank. As the water taxi in my previous photo, the "Prins Bernhard" (please see the first comment), the "Adele" chuggles down the Spree towards Berlin's central railway station, the Hauptbahnhof.

In this spot, the Reichtag building is on the right and almost at the rear of the viewer. On the right, you can still see a little bit of the Jakob-Kaiser-Haus that you can also see in my previous photo (and there it's on the left).

A nice bonus here was the group of all-female dancers rehearsing in front of the huge bull's eye window of the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (MELH). That spot obviously is a favourite meeting place for such groups, because at our previous visit to the government district only a few days before this visit there had been another dance group rehearsing their moves right in front of that huge, round window. Maybe it's a "see and be seen" type of thing, this spot certainly is perfect for that ;)

.. still on the walk with magrit k. and Silke Klimesch .. happy Thursday my friends :)
