A very nice church in Mendocino, CA. It is Presbyterian and dates back to late 19th Century.

To me, I love the gritty side of city life. The hustle and bustle of living day to day.
I am not saying I would live there but there is some attraction to it.
It is quiet and quaint where I live. Probably 13,000 people in this town of Paris.
Happy Window Wednesday

More converging verticals at Potsdamer Platz. On the left, there's BahnTower again. The building "hidden" behind the northern entrance to the Potsdamer Platz station is the Ritz Carlton, and the building on the right is the so-called Delbrück-Hochhaus which houses restaurants and offices. If you compare the roof of Delbrück-Hochhaus to that of Kollhoff tower on the opposite side of Potsdamer Platz (the red brick building which you can see in my previous photo from Potsdamer Platz; you can find it in the second comment) you will notice similar design elements. This is due to the fact that both buildings were designed by Kollhoff Architekten.
Like the previous image, I took this with the Ricoh GRIII equipped with the GW-4 wide-angle adapter which expands the GRIII's 28mm focal length to 21mm. The image is another HDR made from a three photo exposure bracketing combined in HDR Efex. Final touches were done in Color Efex.
Happy Window Wednesday, Everyone!
Peeking through the front window of my favorite of the cottages in the Historic district on Jekyll Island. Owned by the Macy family for 20 years. We couldn't get into this one this time. They seem to change which houses they allow tours to go through each time. I really like the color scheme inside this pretty home.
Happy Window Wednesday!

Another one from the Willy-Brandt-Haus, the party headquarters of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. This is a view up to the glass ceiling, taken almost at ground level with my camera mounted on my small table top tripod.
Happy Window Wednesday and Happy Hump Day, Everyone :-)
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND FAVES
ON THE REACTIONS I WILL TRY TO RESPOND BACK

One of the little rest spots at Winter Wheat. There are books within where guests can say their name and where they are from etc.
Happy Window Wednesday
There was an art fair in town, as you can likely tell from the reflections up top, but it was the display of Pokemon merchandise in the store window that attracted the attention of these young gentlemen.

Through this window we can forget about what's happening over the world the last weeks....I like to think that.
Have a good day my flickr friends <3
This one is from my trip to the Lake District in January. We stopped at a lovely little cafe, it was snowing outside. HWW
I am going to have very little time to spend on Flickr for the next couple of weeks. I'll try to catch up when I can.
Happy Window Wednesday. Yes the windows are dirty but I can't keep up with her little smudges.
52 weeks of dogs.
Watching the neighbor shovel.
Mirror shot in my Air B&B April 2023. There were two mirrors opposite each other on either side of the roof dormer in our room, so you are actually seeing in the reverse direction of the lens . It made for an interesting angle to show the street view and my lens reflection simultaneously so I couldn't resist giving it an opportunity. Uniquely there is only one window in the area but the mirrors give the impression of two, both with their individual views. I was quite pleased with the peculiar results. I tried so hard to show more of the street lamp but it was not to be while maintaining the straight lines , squared window frame and the reflection on the lens. This was our second afternoon in Lisbon on our trip through Portugal having departed Porto. I was trying to share something unusual I had seen in my peripheral vision on this occasion and this was as close as I could accomplish. When I tried moving the camera higher in the tight position I lost all the magic. I realized there is no defined focal point within the image and the subject is entirely the illusion itself. So confusing for the eye that the lens appears to be aiming away from it's image captured.
Taken from inside one of the abandoned buildings at Camp 30 in Bowmanvill ON.
I am not sure if any of these are still there. It was on of the coolest exploring I have done.
Happy Window Wednesday
