Our guide lead us up to Skull Rock in Mystery Valley. The direction of the sun really brought out the colors of the rock.

Happy Window Wednesday!
With its barred windows and generally aged appearance this float doesn’t look like much. I was struck by the beauty of its muted colours and their reflections on the waters on the Tiber River on this winter afternoon in Rome. After some research, I believe that this is the "San Giorgio" float, which belongs to the sports and cultural association, “The Royal Circolo Canottieri Tiber Remo”.
This is the outside of the chalet where we were jamming last weekend.
A bit of a drive, but a nice place to visit. I do have quite a few black fly bites though.
Happy Window Wednesday
This repair shop and Inspection Station was built in the 1930’s. It has a large repair bay on the far side with a lift and pit. It had two gas pumps which were removed in 2007 when it was no longer cost effective to have fuel trucked out to this rural area, (which cost the owner extra money and had to be reflected in the gas prices). This station still does repair work and inspections. It has been in the same family since it was built. The owner is soon ready to retire and no other family member wishes to carry on the business, so the shop will close its doors for good. HWW
in #Wissembourg#….von der anderen Straßenseite!
Weißenburg,Wissembourg,ist eine französische Gemeinde mit
8.500 Einwohner im Elsass.
#Wissembourg# liegt direkt an der deutsch - französischen
Grenze.

Thanks for views,faves and comments:-))
The main floor grand staircase in the Hegeler-Carus Mansion is certainly one of the highlights of the mansion tour. Nearly 145 years old,it is still a wonder of detail and craftsmanship....
This is straight from the cam, looking out my porch window through the wet panes. I love the natural *blurry* effects;
only the hues were bumped up to capture more color!
Can you see my signature A in the background against the rock? It is a metal sculpture given to me by an artist friend many years ago!
Yay for Wednesday. Flying off to good old Blighty today to visit family and friends. Happy Window Wednesday!

This is the type of picture my friend Mare would put up. Probably taken in Hamilton when I was down at the Art Gallery. I just love art galleries.
Happy Window Wednesday
The walkway into the Shopping Centre has a glassed roof but an annoying gap is left in the middle! Fine in hot sunny weather but I imagine it’s a pain on cold, wet and rainy days!
The funky patterns is on the inside of this window. It is very gritty, almost concrete like...window and reflection. HWW to all and enjoy your day (;-D

From our trip to California earlier this year. This structure was out in the middle of nowhere in Palm Desert.
