To be fair, the forest was all around while enjoying this walk in Kincaid Park. For this image though I decided to focus on this one section of forest and trees. There was a combination of the more distant trees as well as the tall grasses and small bushes that added to the foreground and a more complete setting.
"This afternoon, I went for a walk in the Walled Garden to delight in the beauty of God's creation. I took quite a few pictures of various flowers which I will share with you over the coming days.
Springtime is a miraculous time, when suddenly life springs forth of what was dead during the Wintertime. Hence, it's a well chosen time to celebrate the Resurrection of God's Son Jesus. His death seemed to be the end but was in reality only the beginning."

Beach walks in high winds are interesting with long hair :) This little dog walked past me yesterday. We were both having trouble staying on our feet!
Thanks very much for visiting way down south.
I remember the first time I encountered the Beauty berry. My father and I had gone for a walk in his neighbourhood and he called me over, all excited, because of this strange and wonderful bush covered with purple berries that didn't look real. He was convinced that someone was trying to trick us and had put a plastic plant in their garden to trick us. It wasn't until he squeezed one of the berries in his hand was he convinced :)

DAMBO is decoded as Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass though the name now incorporates the whole area next to Brooklyn Bridge too. In the past, it was a busy port neighborhood in Brooklyn. Since then, many warehouses have been converted to offices or residential buildings.
The weather is meant to be poor, windy and wintery. Well, up ontop of the Downs it was, freezing, it was windy and was snowing. In Faversham it is so sunny and warm? Who knows whats going on! A new walk in a new wood in the snow. Brilliant, don't know why we have not gone before. An old Forestry Commission evergreen plantation being restored back to mixed deciduous. Lots of wild flowers, orchids, birds and interest and new!
