Shot of a couple as they were wondering in the park on an autumn day. It was a foggy day which created this beautiful light.
The lightstick ran off into the woods, no way was I going to follow it in there.

Byron's poem is said to have been inspired by the sight of a woman in a black mourning dress with dark spangles contrasting with the soft evening light. I have tried to create a feel of the poem with some black sequins, a piece of black lace and a black feather
there is something promising about first of January....a new year is there and thoughts about what it will bring and what you could do better or what you would like to do....hopes and wishes for the future to come.....it has always made in a good mood....full of expectations....kind of like starting anew and everything is fresh and possibilities is just there ahead of you....

Artist Point, Erica, and Shuksan. We were the first people up there since a bit of fresh snow, and the only ones up there that morning - an amazing experience.

A morning walk in winter has its own special charm. The sun fights its way through the thick fog and bathes the Haslimoos in warm, diffuse light. A touch of magic.
