In Scotland farmers call them "dreels." I used to tip toe and trip myself up between them until the farmer laughed and told me I could roll on them if I felt so inclined. (I'm paraphrasing for this family channel.) It didn't matter a hill of beans what anyone did after the wheat had been cut.

The original was taken with my Pixel 6 phone in DNG format while on a walk in a nearby wooded area of Brunswick, ME.
Les 15 et 16 avril 2019, le feu ravage la charpente de Notre-Dame. Les jours suivants, les yeux du monde sont tournés vers l’Île de la Cité. On april 15 and 16, 2019, a fire ravaged the framework of Notre-Dame. The following days, the eyes and ears of the world are turned to the heart of Paris.
I decided to look at Mark di Suvero’s "Joie de Vivre" sculpture from a different angle. It never fails to bring the joy of life to Zuccotti Park.
This pram with baby and Red Setter dog, was originally deep blue when first sold in 1982. This years baby blue and mauve variant also sported a new Sindy design on the side.
The baby was still the same as previous years with dark hair and a white little dress. So was the mattress, blanket and pillow, however the vinyl cover was completely taken out of the equation!
The Red Setter with lead was exactly the same, but I lost the "handle" somewhere along the line and made a new one from grey fabric, though it ought to be brown.
As a change, today we walked in neighbourhood streets before heading to the lake. I’m not sure what attracted me to take this photo.
