A lovely walk in Dunham's North Park yesterday. This was after meeting the Guide Dog gang who meet every Tuesday. A fabulous group of puppy walkers, with retired, working and trainee dogs. They have invited Red and I to join them each week. An inspiring group, so much so I came home and sponsored a Guide Dog pup called Nico and look forward to following his progress. Red in the meantime has made a whole host of new friends and even shared his beloved tennis ball with his chums, it must be love!!!!!
Walk in the Green Valley.
The Green Valley is an oasis of peace in the triangle between Brussels, Leuven and Mechelen.
The weather has been lovely this morning and I spontaneously decided to go to Bietigheim, a town only a few minutes away from the place where I live. I didn't really walk IN town but rather around the town where nature along the river is beautiful and I could enjoy the sunshine. The town itself is pretty too, though, especially because of the old half-timbered houses.
In the woods you feel protected and welcomed as in a big hug. Silence, shadows and leaves become friends.

Sorry guys - yes you are right - this picture is completely within my comfort zone and sometimes it becomes difficult to get out when you see what collects views and what is not;-) but i am still trying to experiment do i? Plus i want to tell stories...
The balsam are apparently very resilient plants. Last weeks snowstorm may have made them sad but they seem happy now.
