A long walk in the ravine on Sunday was uplifting. (Explored)

As part of our walk this afternoon Lewis and I took this little trail along the side of the farmer's field!

A Walk In The Woods

I found a little wood not too far from Moffat that had the perfect mix of autumnal colours, big old trees, pathways of fallen leaves...this place should work so well over the winter months.

Please feel free to share with your friends and family should you wish

A late afternoon walk in Whites Hill Reserve, the light through the trees is always lovely.

Bumming around the area led to me hanging around Gibson City waiting for the CN to come through town. While I wasn't particularly going for them, I kept hearing a horn yet couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I took a walk to Lowery Park and started scoping out shots if *anything* showed up, and in the middle of doing so, this appeared with around 10 seconds of warning.

Bloomer 7549, the lone high hood on the roster, takes a cut of grain hoppers from somewhere else on the system towards One Earth on the edge of town.

Despite it being long hood forward, and a relatively boring shot, I was happy to walk away with anything considering I got black betty'd that morning. Another visit will have to be done soon

Quiet, colourful, beautiful, a walk in Dunham Park this morning.

Have a really nice weekend!

A walk in Municipal Aquarium in the city of Santos-Brazil.

The Penguin´s house with 145 m2 was built with submerged rocks, pebbles and gray sky beaches, mimics the region of Patagonia, at the southern end of the South American continent. The tanks can be admired almost 40 penguins, especially The Skirt, the first penguin born in captivity in Brazil.

A pair of Grizzles takes a walk in a sedge meadow. The male is on the left. Actually, he was courting two females. The other female is out of frame.

This is another capture from my Tide Rip Tour outings. All these bear shots were taken off a boat specially designed for bear viewing. I like Tide Rip because they are very conscious of minimizing any disturbance to the bears. They float the boat towards the bears with no motor, and stay a very safe distance (around 100m I think) from them. They do not allow eating on the boat, no perfumes or noise of any kind. This is also a very safe way for the bear-watchers to view these amazing animals.

I loved the near-silhouette of the kid walking into the water in this one, and the shine on the lake.

Couple of days ago, we had some friends over and 3 of us, around 1 decided to go for an impromptu short photowalk/drive around Rotterdam. Of the three, two of us fancy being photographers while the third has no such illusions. We didn't want him to be bored and feel left out. So here he is!

An afternoon walk in the park. Picture taken at Perry Farm in Bradley Illinois.

You light up the path and you are holding my hand. I feel safe even when we are walking in the dark.

Have a good day!

This pretty Blythe doll is Picnic Al Fresco. The birch trees are a Christmas decoration.

She walks in beauty, like the night

Of cloudless climes and starry skies,

And all that's best of dark and bright

Meets in her aspect and her eyes,

Thus mellowed to that tender light

Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

Lord Byron

Byron's poem is said to have been inspired by the sight of a woman in a black mourning dress with dark spangles contrasting with the soft evening light. I have tried to create a feel of the poem with some black sequins, a piece of black lace and a black feather

there is something promising about first of January....a new year is there and thoughts about what it will bring and what you could do better or what you would like to do....hopes and wishes for the future to come.....it has always made in a good mood....full of expectations....kind of like starting anew and everything is fresh and possibilities is just there ahead of you....
