Time-lapse video of the super-moon eclipse. It was an amazing transformation and incredible event to see.
The great egret, also known as the common egret, large egret, or great white egret or great white heron, is a large, widely distributed egret. The four subspecies are found in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and southern Europe. Recently, it has also been spreading to more northern areas of Europe. Wikipedia

Got this as I was out on a walk. You can see the vehicles in the Workshops in the background. Sorry for the shakyness!

This pair of Egyptian Geese reside in my local park and usually produce a good clutch of eggs/goslings each year.
I heard that they had brought the newly hatched goslings over from the nesting site on an island in the lake, to the area where visitors walk. This is a risky move as people enter the park with their dogs at this point (some not on a lead) and the male swan (we only have one pair) is very protective and territorial when his mate is currently sitting on her nest.
Sadly there were initially ten yesterday, but only seven on my count this morning.
I went to the park early hoping to find them. When I arrived Mum was keeping them all warm. Then 2 dogs arrived across the water inlet where they were and this disturbed them. Thankfully another visitor was feeding them with seeds so I got some good footage. Enjoy!
Ivar was sitting so slouchy while watching birds, but as soon as I started videoing him, he decided to talk to me. He can be a very chatty little guy!
With his favorite vet tech, Maria. Every time we board him there, we leave his stuffed football with him & she's always up for a game.

A marvelous gift from our neighbors to the north, Joe and Ermeralda. Joe is a minister and Chaplain at Valley Baptist Hospital and could not join the group for lunch, but came over after his services and gave a great gift of his songs.....

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️❤️
Just a quiet moment to take in with no conscious thought. Try to imagine the moisture, the smell of ozone and the relief of a hot day that was broken.

This time, the bird of prey was not looking at me but a squirrel!

I tell My Stag:
Mighty one, who treads the ancient woods,
With antlers like the branches of Yggdrasil,
I honor thee, for thou art of the earth and sky,
A creature of the gods, bound to both.
Your gaze speaks of wisdom, old as the mountains,
And your stride is the rhythm of the seasons.
You carry the wild within you,
As I carry the blood of warriors and kings.
Guide me, noble stag, across these lands,
May your strength and courage be with me,
As I tread the path of my ancestors,
And face the trials of battle, life, and death.
