She was euthaniased on my belly in the calm of our home on august 4 2016. If you have to do it, i strongly suggest to do it at home. It is such a relief to not do it in the stress of puting her in her cage, at her age, 15 year,s old, and also in a place where she was totaly insecure in the veterian. She never like it there. Most of the veterian give this service and it is not much more expensive than in the clinique.
Dhyana did not know she was going to die. She was peaceful and happy and fell a sleep on me. I did love her so much, and she gave me such in return it was the least I could do for her.

Seven little ducklings were lovingly raised by the dedicated staff of St. Francis Wildlife in Tallahassee, FL during the summer of 2016. I picked them up at St. Francis on the day of this video, and at first they were just going to send six of them home with me and keep the 7th one - a female - since something had just happened to her flight feathers and they were afraid that she would be an easy target for a predator. We decided that she'd be better off with her peeps than alone in her flight cage at St. Francis, so we caught her and packed her up for her final time in a crate. When I got them home I took the big tub to the water's edge, and very gently rolled it on it's side so that when I opened the hinged lid that they would hopefully file out together, and not explode out, flying in every direction, which I unfortunately learned in a previous release. Everything went as planned and they slowly swam out in wide-eyed wonderment in their new home. The first 25s or so was videoed right after they were released, and the last clip was shot later that afternoon as they met the eight three-month old Black-bellied Whistling Duck juveniles who are the terror of the swamp. Ironically, the little raggedy hen who almost didn't get to taste freedom was the one who chased off the Whistling duck, and flapped at the end. They've been here a month now and all seven are doing fine. "Raggedy's" feathers are growing back, and her short flights are getting longer each day. She and a somewhat raggedy drake have really bonded (you can see them together beginning around :27), and I'm so glad they are all together.
This video was shot in 4K with a Panasonic GH4 + Nikon 300mm f2.8 ED IF ais lens using manual focus.

This clip is dedicated to Swt Snookie, who’s encouraging post this morning got me up off my arse and into the car and into the forest today, despite a painful toothache and almost debilitating leg cramps, which have had me gimped up for a couple of days. It was a rewarding and healing experience to be in the forest once again. Thank you, Patricia!!

My first visit to the Grand Canyon National Park was in 2015, the day started fine and clear, only to cloud over the closer we got to our destination. Along the way locals we spoke to said a mighty storm was brewing, causing my spirits to sink.
That afternoon we settled into our accommodation in the National Park and made our way to a viewing place. The weather was fine where we were, but we could see a wild storm on the southern rim. For me, what could have been a disaster, turned into a photo opportunity.
We stayed until the sunset and I snapped away with my camera all the while. The next morning dawned fine and clear. It was then I got my first view of what visitors usually see when they visit the Grand Canyon.
This photo video is a selection chosen from some of the photos I took on that first afternoon. I've since visited the Grand Canyon a second time, in 2019, but nothing compares with that first afternoon on my first visit. I hope you will enjoy my unique visit to this amazing and beautiful place.

My main job was to help clients on this morning, so I set my camera to handle the next hour of light and left it running. It captured 1430 photos over 45 minutes so i could show you this time-lapse video of the spectacle that we witnessed!
Six gray kittens are doing what they love best ...playing and resting. Three puppies are snuggled up with three of the kittens.
I put together the video clips and audio, "All Be Fine" in Canva.
It's fun to choose and coordinate the music with the clips.
