A real treat this morning was finding the Arthur M. Anderson on the north side of Dock 1 in Two Harbors taking on a load of blast furnace trim (crushed raw taconite). This time of year there is only a few hours of good morning sun on this side of the dock. Use of the north side has been sporadic in recent years.

My sister's wedding party was a couple of weekends ago, and there was a variety show at the end of it; many of our friends had prepared acts. There was singing and dancing and little skits, and a drunken, appreciative audience of friends and relatives. It was a great time! Sam and I put this together in the couple of days we had beforehand. Obviously, this is the last 90 seconds of the song; the whole thing wasn't captured.

I wish you a Merry Christmas
Minnie doesn't like it when I leave because she has to be locked up or she ends up on the road and could get run over. She climbs under any fence, even if it is two feet tall. When I come home she has full run of the place and will probably greet you as you pull up. So be prepared to have an ass in your face. lol She is telling me in her "quiet voice" she doesn't want me to go. Her son (Cowboy) is always loose even when I'm away because he stays home. I still have them both after all these years.

Today's episode brings us to the cold shore front of Lake Ontario, where a hungry Lesser Yellowlegs procures its breakfast. Over the duration of my time spent with the bird, it gobbled up quite an abundance of minnows and other small fish. This had been my first time seeing one, and the longer I spent with it, the closer it was willing to come. It was quite the experience! I hope you enjoy our time spent together

In the business, we call this a "pathway". This is the open window that lets outdoor air infiltrate your home, placing your HVAC system under extra load.
