Dinner eaten, my friend and I expolored the night market looking for a place to eat an ice cream and relax in the cool of the evening.
In the pavilion of Uzbekistan at the 2025 world expo in Osaka, visitors are shown into a cylindrical room. After the doors shut, there are 360 degree projections on the internal wall of the drum. When the doors open, visitors find that they have been transported to the rooftop of the pavilion.

You can also see how fast the vesicle is withdrawn in the collophore and the springtail is drinking a drop of it before starting eating again.
The water was much clearer than yesterday and I managed to find a turtle not alarmed by my presence.

When I got my new iPhone 6s, I kept my old iPhone 5 just to do timelapses. Last night, I biked to the pedestrian bridge by Harvard hoping to see a cool sunset - a day with thunderstorms often has amazing clouds. But, a day with thunderstorms is also risky - when I got there there was pink in the sky but just a few minutes later it started to sprinkle. I had to pack up my camera stuff real quick and ended up getting soaked on the bike ride home as it really started to rain. Luckily I have waterproof panniers on my bike, so all my camera stuff was safe.
The back-and-forth movement of the hindwings directs a predator's attention to the less vital part of the hairstreak's body. It is better to have a chunk missing from the pretty wings than to give up the head.
