Here’s a very short timelapse of the sunrise this morning. Not spectacular but I’m getting a better handle on the editing side and even a mundane sunrise is nice to see.

Yes, Jaguars can swim very easily. They are excellent swimmers, and they can also swim underwater by holding their breath for a quite long time. Jaguars wave their tails above water to attract fish.
Jaguars are second largest big cat (just after the tiger) that can swim underwater very easily. They are known to swim to keep the body cool and also to hunt for their potential aquatic prey.
Jaguars live in a range of habitats ranging from arid scrubland, thick tropical forests, swamps, coastal mangroves, lowland river valleys, grasslands, to mixed-coniferous forests.

Holi 2024: Holi is one of the biggest Hindu festivals that celebrates the victory of good over evil. From date to history, here is all you need to know.
Two days are devoted to the festivities, with Dhulandi or Rangwali Holi coming after Choti Holi or Holika Dahan. It marks the victory of good over evil. It takes place in the Hindu month of Phalgun, which falls between February and March. People celebrate the day with balloons, flowers, water and colours. Adults and children apply gulal to each other and ask their elders for blessings.

Castello - che a seguito della messa all’asta,
era stato acquistato nell’anno 1998 dal Comune
Dopo oltre mille anni il “Castello dei Conti di Ceccano”
diventa finalmente proprietà pubblica.

(1734 si assiste alla totale trasformazione del Castello,
diventa un luogo di pena e segregazione fino al 1973,
quando Eugenio abitava a Ceccano era ancora carcere.
Poi il Castello vive in uno stato di totale abbandono)

It's funny because after seeing a picture of a Monarch recently,I was hoping I'd see one this year.It's been about five years since I've encountered some.Lucky for me,I saw this one fluttering about.Where?At a city garden in my own neck of the woods in Brooklyn!There were four of them in the garden.

Man, these guys are hard to resist! They were just bobbing up and down while Mom and Dad perched above the burrow, making this ever-so-cute little call which sounded like the courtship call.

A music video I created from stock footage

Two gray squirrels found some peanuts and pieces of bread in my backyard. I put the food on an old maple tree stump(s). The silver maple had three large trunks. If you're wondering...those are the glass tops to my solar lights.
I added snowy backgrounds to my originals. The video is made up of seven Canva AI images. Six were generated in Magic Media and the last one using Canva AI video clip.
Added my orginal photos in between the clips. Two clips were used twice.
Prompts - A gray squirrel eating peanuts and pieces of bread on a snowy day.
Two gray squirrels...(same as above). Two gray squirrels running and playing in the snow.
Audio - "Thieving Squirrels" by The Fly Guy Five", squirrel squeaks as the sound effects.

Wow, as a total "sky geek" I was sure in my happy place while watching this evolving, slightly stormy (a wee bit of lightning), sunset sky as we approached the Phoenix airport. Feel free to mute if that airplane buzz is annoying to you.
I did this with Google Gemini 2.5. It's free for 2 weeks. I'm going to cancel before I have to pay. Mainly because I'm not a video person. It's fun to play with and if one really wants to get into it the 8 second videos can be tied together.
Life with my daughter is going well. I have 3 daughters and this is the easiest one to live with.
