Singapore Airlines had split from the old Malaysia/SIngapore Airline tie up (MSA Airlines) and came into it's own.. by 1976 this carrier was already covering the world except the Americas..

Today Saudia goes by the name Saudi Arabian Airlines and not "Saudia".. kinda sad because I like the "Saudia" name actually.

I have occasionally highlighted some of the out of date County Council timetable cases that can been found in Norfolk.

In this view we see such a case reclining inside the ivy clad Bus Shelter at Heydon, obviously sleeping off the after effects of whatever was in that discarded bottle. The times are shown as commencing from 3rd January 2005 so you are probably safe to assume that it is now out of date. See next upload for details.

Another out of date NCC timetable case, although this one which can be found in a very remote position on the Fakenham to Litcham road at Pear Tree Corner Pattesley is undated. Whilst bus services still depart from the London Street bus stop in Whissonsett, none of those listed above are still in operation today. As the crow flies the nearest stop is in fact at the Godwick Road junction situated just to the south of this location which is served by Sanders service 23 (W) and 25 (TF) as well as WNCT service 22 (T). The latter may actually serve the Pear Tree Corner stop. Can anyone confirm this please?

The tiny village of Pattesley consists of a few scattered houses and farms with the population included in that of the adjacent parish of Colkirk.

The airline began operations as Robinson Airlines in 1945 out of Ithaca Municipal Airport near Ithaca, New York, flying single engined, three passenger Fairchild F-24 aircraft.

In 1952 it was renamed Mohawk Airlines.

43194 Okehampton Castle , coach set GW09 and 43094 St Mawes Castle with GWR service 2U20 10.50 Penzance to Cardiff Central calling at Yatton five minutes late at 15.06. The departures board shows it as only going to Newport , but it actually got to Cardiff Central ahead of time , the problems being between Cardiff and Bridgend.

Even after the new timetable came into effect on 15th December 2019 this service 2U20 was scheduled for an unrebuilt Class 257 HST. These slam-door units are now illegal with DDA regulations effective from 1st January 2020 , and GWR now seem to have found an extra new Class 255 set. A total of 8 Castle sets are scheduled on week-days , and 11 have been ordered.

The first ever GWSR timetable, dated 1984. Broadway is not even on the map!

Services started on 22nd April 1984 with a loco and a single coach.

BMI emerged out of this version of British Midland... which flew DC-9s and Viscounts around the UK.. it would seem teh DC-9 was their signature aircraft..

I have occasionally highlighted some of the out of date timetable cases that can be found on the highways and byways of Norfolk. In this instance I can confirm that the information and timings on the NCC October 2013 dated timetable displayed in the case attached to Wendling Bus Shelter are currently accurate.

There is however a problem in that, apart from the Dereham and Necton bound school buses and the Friday only journeys on Carter's Coaches service 10, none of the other buses shown actually serves the Bus Shelter stop, situated at the Village Hall on the old A47, for Konectbus service 20 terminates and commences from Station Road some distance away.

Timetable for summer pleasure sailings from Oban to Staffa and Iona and Fort William. The Staffa and Iona steamer was the King George V while the Fort William steamer would have been the Lochfyne in 1953.

The effective date of this small pocket timetable was November 15, 1919 (revised January 15, 1920). It predates the 1922 purchase of the SN by the Western Pacific Railroad. It measures approximately 2 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches when folded.

The Sacramento Northern Railroad was an electric interurban railway, originally connecting Chico in Northern California to the state capitol of Sacramento. WP purchased the SN in 1922, retaining the name Sacramento Northern Railroad. The Sacramento Northern Railway was created in 1925 as a new WP subsidiary.

In 1928, the San Francisco-Sacramento Railroad (formerly the Oakland, Antioch and Eastern Railway) was added as the Sacramento Northern's Southern Division or "South End". The combined high-speed main line stretched for 185 miles between San Francisco and Chico.

Extract from the autumn / winter / spring 1964 / 65 B.R. Scottish Region timetable. The 'Blue Trains' referred to were the 1960 built class 303 electric multiple units, which continued in service until 2002. Notice the reference at Crosshill to Cathkin Park, home of Third Lanark F.C. which was wound up in 1967. Crossmyloof Ice Rink has been replaced by a Morrison's supermarket, it also has a station on the Barrhead / Kilmarnock line.

Re-filling a supermarket timetable rack in October, 1975.

Whilst there was na SPT produced timetable for Weir's services they also produced their own. Whilst primarily for the 16 between Helensburgh and Coulport it does attmept to cover everything in one go with a wide variety of schoolday specific variations. The reference to the 301 is only for those which reached Clydebank and I haven't worked out what the 82 was linked to those journies marked as bfo and bnf (maybe).

The coach in the publicty for the day tours is D527 YCR which was operated but I don't recall ever seeing it.
