This was 'Tayway' in its original form.

In 1980, Tayside Regional Council established a kind of coordination of local public transport services between Dundee and Arbroath. This scheme was branded 'Tayway', the three elements being TRC's own bus operations, Northern Scottish buses and British Rail. Timetable information was merged and, most significantly, fares were standardised.

For the first time in almost 50 years, Dundee municipal public transport services were extended out to Monifieth as the new 42 bus service, an extension of the former number 10 which had terminated at South Balmossie Street.

The three partners entered into the scheme with varying levels of enthusiasm. (It can now be said with safety that BR wasn't enthusiastic at all.) Despite the merits of the Tayway scheme, a premature end was brought about by the advent of the Transport Act 1985, which divested the Regional Council of its bus operations and also rendered collaboration of this kind between bus operators illegal.

A close up of the Heydon Bus Shelter timetable case dated 3rd January 2005 reveals details of two Sanders school day only services from Holt and Melton Constable to Reepham or Repham High School. Just noticed there is nothing to indicate that they only operated Monday to Friday in term time.

According to the Norfolk County Council website Sanders still operate both routes to Reepham, but neither is now shown as serving Heydon. However, the NCC website advises that Richards Coaches of Guist provide a service from Foulsham to Reepham High School which is timed to serve the Heydon Shelter stop at 0827hrs and 1553hrs, although it may well be restricted to the conveyance of school children.

I'm not sure how I got a hold of this UK version of Alitalia's 1977 timetable. I must have been in England that year.

This was another iconic logo. I would guess that this version must have been very recent in 1973. There previous one was an inverse of this.. a white circle & "S" on a darker blue background.
