This was a very large box containing some of the 9" Playmates Star Trek line, and an assortment of 1:6 including GI Joe Classic, Star Wars, Starting Line-Up, and others.
Some extra 1:6 Star Wars we picked up. Right now they're still original sealed but those Vaders are electronic so it may be time to remove the batteries. I guess we can push the "Try Me!" button and see if they still work.
Also, Darth Maul developed a mold growth on his face. He was the only fig we noticed with that so maybe it's something to do with the plastic they used for him?

If you like 90's toys, we hope you enjoy these blasts from the past!
Part of our garage shelving has held boxes of 90's toys since about that time. We knew they were there and out of the way. CM is reorganizing the garage and he wanted to get these with the rest of the toys in the toy storage room.
So it was great fun seeing thee toys again for the first time in a long time. CM was especially happy to see the Exosquad boxes!
It all needs to be wiped down but the Lord blessed and they're not in bad shape for sitting in cardboard boxes for over 20 years.
We transferred them from the boxes to plastic tubs. Because, collectors.

The last few months of a year long project are the hardest. Desire, inspiration, and new subject matter are some of the things I struggle with. As of this day, less than 3 months to go. ;)
Oh Mickey, you're so fine
You're so fine, you blow my mind

My attempt to capture the single piece of string strung between supports along the Lake St. bridge in Chicago. This is similar to (but larger than) the one on the Orleans St. bridge. . Thanks to nvaughn for pointing out that the Lake St. bridge had one of these as well. Here's his version: www.flickr.com/photos/nvaughn/4414082158/

It's hard to be two and hungry when dinner isn't until 1 o'clock and you're used to being fed and put down for a nap by that time. This was Thanksgiving, and it was string cheese to the rescue (sort of -- she might have also had a banana).
One more in the comments (mid-chew).
Film. Kodak Portra 400.
One of those ongoing projects where I do a couple now and then since I have to wait for the scrap bin to fill up with strips from other projects. The blocks are 10" square.
String Lake on an smoky autumn morning in Grand Tetons. The mountains in the background were totally obscured by the smoke. The trails north from here were close because of a forest fire, so this was as far north you could go.
