A very rare single point failure of a string of small light bulbs caused by a fast moving key lime.
Garage sale, a bunch for three bucks.
Light bulbs are not very interesting, but they sure are less messy that wet stuff.
Spent several hours today claening up, now I am back to square one. At least broken light bulbs don't rot or smell.
The parts are kinda pointy, though.
Cheers.

Nothing special here, just another shot of Mt. Moran reflected on the surface of String Lake on a peaceful autumn afternoon.

In physics, string theory is a theoretical framework in which the point-like particles of particle physics are replaced by one-dimensional objects called strings. It describes how these strings propagate through space and interact with each other. On distance scales larger than the string scale, a string looks just like an ordinary particle, with its mass, charge, and other properties determined by the vibrational state of the string. In string theory, one of the many vibrational states of the string corresponds to the graviton, a quantum mechanical particle that carries gravitational force. Thus string theory is a theory of quantum gravity.

Thanks for looking!
The first i new of this nest of baby spiders was when i opened the lid of one of my wheely bins. They were suspended between two of the wheely bins and suddenly there was mayhem. I closed the bin and thought they would disperse, but on returning an hour or so later they had rebult their nest.
It's measuring about 3ft x 3ft now :) It's getting harder to work on as each side is now taking longer than the average Declan nap, so I'm having to break it up a lot more.

I tried to get an action shot of Moo today catching string, I got some awesome shots with her mouth wide open and the daftest of expressions, but unusable images it was just too dark today to be able to get a fast enough shutter speed...I could have braved the cold and gone outside but I didn't, I'm a wimp when it comes to the cold, I'll just have to wait for a brighter day and try again, this is the best I got.
This is an attempt at capturing motion blur. I used my 12 string Gibson guitar for this experiment. This is a first pass at processing an image from the series I shot. I also did a BW of a different frame.
Completely irrelevant is that today is 100 years from the day Albert Einstein published his first paper on relativity. The following is from scientist Michio Kaku's website.
What is physics? Physics is nothing but the laws of harmony that you can write on vibrating strings. What is chemistry? Chemistry is nothing but the melodies you can play on interacting vibrating strings. What is the universe? The universe is a symphony of vibrating strings. And then what is the mind of God that Albert Einstein eloquently wrote about for the last 30 years of his life? We now, for the first time in history have a candidate for the mind of God. It is, cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.
Hi!!
Mom had got these for her to see and choose. This is the one I liked most and thought why not make good use of it.
I'm still learning to create beautiful bokeh and yes, the journey has been amazing thanks to all the love you guys have given me. :)
Hope this makes you happier.
Have an amazing fun week ahead.

Early on an hazy autumn morning at String Lake. The haze was smoke from the Bearpaw Bay forest fire on Jackson Lake a few miles to the north.

Running just over an hour early the afternoon train from the loading point at Goonbarrow Junction to Fowey Docks at Carne Point led by a work stained DBS/EWS Class 66/0 #66078 crosses the embankment at Golant with its train of thirty eight CDA wagons stretched out like a string of pearls on Thursday the 4th of June 2015. www.bigsky47539.smugmug.com
Achinga Payar (String Beans or Chowli in Hindi) Thoran - (Dry Curry) is normally used as a side dish along with cooked rice. A favorite dish for bachelors as it consumes very less time for the preparation.
This lady is extracting the beans to be sold separately.
Early morning on String Lake. Later in the day these logs are where the Heron from a previous(and future) posts was hanging out.
