started turning what plastic bags we have into string. I have a very large ball now but no nice photos of it yet.
The lady who taught me this skill at art school must be struggling now that Adelaide has aa plastic bag ban and half of her art practice involved knitting string made from plastic bags.

While stopping in Atlanta on my way to Alabama, I stayed a couple of weeks and made my visits. One of the places I stopped was a community theater that I have spent a great deal of time in named 7 Stages in the Little Five Points district of Atlanta. They have this harp from a piano on their wall, and I had to take the opportunity to capture it. I mean, the inside of a piano is simply beautiful, yet not everyone gets the opportunity to see it. So displaying it as the art makes sense to me.

This one is rather unusual, so much so that its worth pulling up a chair, sitting down and taking a closer look.

Some people are afraid to risk it all.
This still life setup included upturned tables and chairs in the middle of the room, with coloured string strewn around it connecting to other areas of the room. I did several small pencil sketches of the room and one large one, and used ink pencil for the strings. I used water over the ink pencil to try and intensify the colour
