The inside of the store is very simple, yet chic. They use a lot of brown, pink, and white which seems to be the "in" colors now. That, and brown mixed with baby blue.

Snow White has been deboxed. She is standing, supported by the included display stand.
Detailed photos of the LE Snow White and Prince Doll Set. I got it from from the UK Disney Store, via a collector friend. It was double boxed by the DS. The outer shipping box sustained some damage, but the inner factory shipper box was undamaged. However, there is a small crease in the inner front cover, and considerable bowing on the sides of the plastic window. Both of these defects I don't mind so much, as I will debox the dolls. The dolls themselves appear to be in perfect condition. I love the way they are posed in the box, and their outfits match very well. The factory shipper box has Carton #270 of 330. The actual CoA number is 480 of 650.
I show Prince being deboxed, and fully deboxed, both with and without his cape. His cape is designed to be draped over his left shoulder. But I prefered that it be behind his back, so his is more balanced and can be more stable free standing, as well as freeing both arms. He has his edition number stamped on his back. I then debox Snow White, and show her and her Prince together.

At Marcello's general store, in Monterchi, you can buy almost anything. This counter in the back supplies espresso and cappuccino, pastries, cigarettes and cigars (tobacco is a local crop), and alcoholic beverages. The dispenser with the yellow bottom holds, not juice or iced tea, but wine!
I took this in the late 1970s in Strawberry Plains, TN. It is long gone and is now part of the neighbors' lawn.
This yarn really reminds me of going thrift store shopping back in Chicago.. You find that awesome yellow and purple sweater with all the funky stuff!! and of course you take everything you scored home in pink crinkley plastic bags..
2 corespun skeins, from batts that had a bit of EVERYTHING!! There's lace, sari silk, ribbons, novelty yarns, sparkle, felted nubbies, tulle and even little bits of the pink crinkley plastic bag!

Anderson General Store gave name to this once remote intersection in South Dade County. Now called Anderson Corner, this intersection was once the hub of the Redland farming area. This photo was shot in 2008. The structure was heavily damaged during Hurrican Andrew in 1992 and was never repaired. the structure is now collapsing upon itself.

We still have some General Stores around in northeast Connecticut. They have all the same things the new convenience stores have and more, like feed for farm animals, kerosene for lamps, and box matches.

I'm fond of The Castle and go there often. It features occasionally in a recurring dream of mine where I get very lost (not hard to do) and find secret rooms.
So the couple of times I've had the chance to go in non-public rooms there it's the
oddest feeling.
Munnings doesn't do much for me, other than as an official curmudgeonly County Treasure (not unlike our own dear Colonel). But I've always loved this one
