The paint job on these wasn't actually terribly done, but it was terribly bright. I suppose I could have given them a rub with some antiquing gel, but the spray paint was right there! They need a touch up in a few spots but overall I like them. No clue what to do with them though.

This store has everything, including truly excellent pesto pizza on Wednesdays (pizza night!).

The barracks/store circa 1880, located on Lanyon Homestead. Constructed of brick with stone footings, this building was used for accommodation and storage. The southern part (far end) of the building was used as the main station store, where the bulk foods and rations were kept to then be measured and distributed to the workers. Today it is used as the Barracks Espresso Bar and Eating House.

Lanyon Homestead sits within a stunning landscape, with spectacular views of the Murrumbidgee River and Brindabella Ranges. It has been a working sheep and cattle property for over 180 years and today still retains its original surroundings and land use.

"Independent grocery store Sentry Foods is in its final days at 4640 W. 147th St. in Midlothian.

Employees said the store's last day would be Monday, March 17, unless it runs out of food and other merchandise over the weekend.

The store opened in 1992 and employed more than two dozen workers.

Calls for comment were not returned, but one employee said the reason they were told for the closing was 'not enough business.'

The store is not affiliated with the Sentry supermarket chain in Wisconsin."
