Sentry ZH105 is in storage minus engines and what looks like a large nose weight (box) hanging on the starboard side. Lots of lovely yellow Gaffer tape makes great contrast to the drab grey scheme!

Perhaps in fifty years they will still be here forgotten like the EBT cars some future rail photog will find them and wonder.
We passed by this store several times and each time would see the man in the window watching people go by. Shooting through windows, and reflections on windows add an unpredictable element to photos. I find it a bit mesmerizing.

This was a little family owned-and-operated corner mart that appears to have opened sometime in the early 1940s, maybe even the late 30s (the house behind it, which is a part of the same property, was constructed in 1948). It closed sometime in the 1980s. Whoever owns the building now appears to be using it as storage, judging by the multiple filing cabinets I could see inside (I wasn't able to get any through-the-window shots, though, since the windows had screens).

I see it as a happy-sad thing. I'm glad that many store and business owners in our area are willing to put it out there: without reservation and without judgment, they welcome people who are gay. It's also sad that that's not a certainty in our culture.

We loved our local movie store and were frequent customers but the owner retired and they closed up the store.
A random snapshot of old and new piles of lumber that is being stored at the former Columbus Lumber Company's south mill in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
The property is now owned by the Rex Lumber Company.
