The one bad thing about the day is that I stupidly had not had much to eat or drink. And with more than 8 miles to get to the finish of the race, I really should have had gas in the tank from the beginning. Even when i got to the event, me and my buddy staked out a spot to hang out at and just stayed put. I didnt have anything to eat or drink while I was there.

On the way home, we both bonked and had to make a stop at a liquor store to nibble on some chips and sip on Coke. We. Were. Drained.

Shot when I was stucked on the traffic on the way back to my parent's. I like the color and the scratched texture of this building facade. I drove back other time hoping to take some more pictures but now they have put up the new advertisement billboard on them. Not pretty as it was left uncare like this.

This elegant store building constructed in 1888. The White Brothers firm was established 1865, no longer in operation. Was called Edith's when I came here about 30 years ago and enjoyed shopping in the store which had a lot of collectibles. Now operating again as many stores within one store.

I found this framed kitty cat artwork today at a thrift store in Whittier, CA. It's hard to see in the photo but it is 3-D, with a needlework beach scene (you know how much cat's love the beach!) and a furry kitty cat with bobbly eyes. I love that the scenery virtually has nothing to do with cats what so ever, when I saw this I immediately fell in love!!

btw, I bought the all white x-mas tree today too at a .98+ store in Whittier. I am going to make some hand cast resin x-mas tree ornaments this year and needed a cute display for them. I think the ornaments will really pop off the white background!
