This general store and gristmill, opened in 1895, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Stone ground corn meal is produced on the premises. For more than 90 years, hoop cheese has been sliced for customers on site. The Gristmill operates for the public only on Saturdays. The store also features a musical museum. I metr the nice lady that is owns and operates the store. The store incurred some damage from the high winds from Katrina.
This store is never open when I am in town but hopefully we will get a chance to walk thru soon.. Algood, TN 2021
This shop, formerly known as Jarig! is now transformed into the Amsterdam duck store. This shop is near the office, but... the office will be moving in two days. So I won't pass this store after work anymore. Pity. But ofcourse I can cycle to it eveytime I feel like buying a new duck.
This is for all those who were actually curious to what the rest of this guy looked like.
Don't worry, this will not make up the majority of the photos I upload on here, truthfully i have to say the thing I photograph the most is sunsets and skies and all that kind of natural, atmospheric snizz. Enjoy!
