These are not pet store fish. There is a Koi dealer in Davidsonville, Md. who sells fish to big clients like hotels, fancy restaurants and owners of McMansions. His showroom is essentially an island surrounded by ponds of various sizes with little bridges that allow shoppers to view his stock.
The fish generally associate the sound of footsteps on the wooden walkways with food. That sends them into a feeding frenzy that brings them tothe surface. Each of these are eight to 14 inches long. They are also valued at hundreds of dollars apiece.
I go there to buy chemicals for my backyard pond. The owner of the store likes to smugly boast about his 'gin clear' pond water. He can afford it, this is his lifelihood.
Paro is the site of Bhutan's international airport. It's a small town - about 30,000 people, and most of the shopping is on two or three streets in the center of town, along with a fruit and vegetable market.

How I got thrown out of the Apple Store in Glasgow for being on the phone while holding a notebook. I did have my camera around my neck, but the lens cap was on. I was told that the people who post photos of Apple products on Flickr are going to be "contacted". I was also told that Apple "have people" who take care of their "image" online and people are not allowed to take photographs of Apple products and post said photos online.
Bet you didn't know that either.

The brightly-painted corrugated iron - known in the area simply as "wriggly tin" - was used originally because of the expense of importing bricks and difficulties in quarrying the local stone.
