All the stores in the small strip in downtown Normandy, Tennessee are empty and in different stages of decay.
I used to spend summers with my Mashburn kin folk and worked for my uncle in this old "general store".
The road was dirt back then, with drink bottle tops flatten in the dirt out front. Old men sat around on drink crates, whittled, and swapped knives.
Parked outside would be tractors, pickups, and trucks with bulls waiting patiently in the back!
I can still hear the clink of 5 cent drinks in the water cooler, the slicer cutting cheese or bologna, and the smell of the oil based compound used to sweep up the floor.
Across the street, in Five Points, TN, is a new Mashburn Store, where my Aunt Louise still works.

They were very creative in naming this, huh? Although, it's almost more pink, to me.
If I ever get married again....this is where I'll shop for my wedding dress. LOL! yeah, rite.
Designer Fairytale Belle has been fully deboxed, and is posed standing alone, supported by the built in doll stand in the display case. As the sunlight was dim, flash was used in all these photos. Her long side curls got in the way of photographing her face closeup from the side, so I draped them over her shoulders for some of those shots.
First look at my Belle and the Beast Doll Set, part of the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection. Purchased from my local Disney Store through the raffle process on release day, October 1, 2013. There were 28 doll sets available, and easily three times that many people who entered. I was very lucky in that I was the next to last person to be chosen.

The Water and Power Credit Union Bank section of the building was the site of a explosion yesterday, March 26,2008. The Quiznos is located on the bottom lower right of this building. This is the rear of the building.

The front of the building currently contains a Citibank, which was which was previously an Allstate Savings, which became a Sears Savings. Sears Savings was acquired by Citibank. 37038 leads the stored line at Barrow Hill. Hopefully though the row of Class 20's behind will be used in October for Rail head treatment trains.

The oldest knife maker in Kyōto, Shigeharu (重春) was founded in the Kamakura period sometime between 1190 and 1329. Historically sword makers. It is among only a handful of stores in Kyoto that can claim to be 'senzen', or predating the Onin War of 1467. It is located near Ninjo Castle in Kyoto.
