Photos taken on 12/02/2009 of the Fomer SAFEWAY Supermarket now VONS Supermarket. Also photos include Rite Aid Drug Store.
This group of photos include the Rite Aid, former Payless Drug Store. I was actually running into the VONS to see if they had remodeled. They hadn't. It is still the original decor from around 1988 when VONS took over SAFEWAY and remodeled all of the former SAFEWAYs with a unified look. The decor is the original white walls with Red Lettering Script on the walls.
Then I went over to the Rite Aid, and to my surprise, it still had the original Payless Drug Store Decor as can be seen in these photos. Sadly, I figured this store's days are numbered as there are plans to rebuild the VONS store. The cashier said that they are supposed to remodel the VONS next year. We will see.
This VONS Supermarket is located at the famous intersection of Colorado and Sierra Madre in the city of Pasadena, California. This is the intersection where the Rose Parade ended and the floats made their way to their final viewing spot. (The route may have changed, but for many years it turned at this intersection.)
This was originally one big SAFEWAY Supermarket that contained a SAFEWAY Supermarket and a Drug Store. In 1988, VONS took over SAFEWAY's Southern California Division and this store became a VONS. In or around 1996, SAFEWAY took over VONS Supermarkets and kept the VONS name.
While this store was operating under SAFWAY, the years it was divided into two stores. In the 1980s, the drug store side became a SAFEWAY Liquor Barn. After the Liquor Barn chain closed down, it turned into a Payless Drug Store. Payless was taken over by Thrifty Drug Stores, who were taken over by Rite Aid (around 1999).
(I believe but can't confirm that this was a former SAFEWAY Super S Combination Supermarket Drug Store.)
on the way to myrtle beach, we saw this old store (at least, that's what it looks like). i thought that retro vending machine was pretty cool.

as a nurse, saying "I'll either make it or break it."
Yes, I have the name of the store. No, I can't put it up.
Zara Clothing Store, Los Angeles California, 6/2015, by Mike Mozart of TheToyChannel and JeepersMedia on YouTube
This store was previously a men's clothing store called Top Man, and most recently another clothing store called In Style. I've always liked the mirrored panels on the inside walls and on the top of this storefront.
The area between the store fronts. Taken in Seattle, Washington in HDR.

The department store was designed by Ferdinand Boberg, Sweden's leading Art Nouveau architect, and inaugurated in 1915.
Former Sav-On Drug Store located at 14339 Clark Ave. in Bellflower,CA. The building which is currently vacant was most recently occupied by a Big Lots.

Painted on picnic tables in the campground to remind people to securely store their food away from the wild horses.
The kitchen store provided a great scene for some photographs this afternoon. I went to simply get my knife sharpened and ended up coming out the my picture of the day as well. I did not buy the spatula, but looking at it now I may need to go back and purchase it. LOL
A famous music store in Darya Ganj. The vegetable hawker (in white) didn't want me to shoot him, he started shouting but I just clicked and moved away like nothing happened ;)
Sari-sari Store - Mirla, do you remember the sari-sari store we had there at Munoz, Nueva Ecija? I wonder if Hector remember it too... It was on that place that Sammy coined the word "duoy" to refer to fermented anchovies .. meaning bagoong ... remember? The store was under a guyabano tree and was in a kubo separate from the house we stayed in. Mommy was the proprietor of that store.
Fun shots captured on the Mamiya 645AF during April 15th's FPP NYC Meetup. During the trip, we visited several places all over Manhattan including: The Lomography Store, the Highline, the Leica Gallery, and the Impossible Project. Many fun times were had.
