spoke to the manager and she said it is an original Kroger store from 1950 with only the front of the store seeing any renovations. The store number of this store is # 953 and the size is right at 8000 Square feet. The address of this store is 456 E. St Louis Street. This is the smallest Kroger store I have ever seen.

This is a reality check for many who think life is easy in the tropics..
Sure the post cards of beautiful women laying on white sand beaches is nice.
Stunning sun sets with golden temples and shimmering blue water to play in.
But this is life for the many that go unseen, unheard, and unnoticed.
The people who wait on you at the fancy 5 star hotel, The taxi man or the vendor along the street. The workers in the rubber tree plantations or the rice paddy laborers.
The school kids that I work with walk here as does many of the teachers.
This is their reality and it gets no better.
I hope that at least one can find a way out using English skills taught to them in these very poor schools I work in.
This is not a good "Snap Shot" and wasn't intended to be, only a small documentation of simple things these peaceful people have to deal with daily.
Now picture this after a rain, remember this is sticky red clay.
And it rains more then not.

WEEK 51.1 – Southaven Burlington Relocation: New Store, Set II
Here's a look from what I believe to be the very back right corner of the store all the way across the salesfloor, with the entrance and front end along that stretch of red wall way off in the distance. For being (as I've said) half the size of the old store, this new location surprisingly feels almost bigger on the inside! (Okay, I had to say that, but the sentiment still stands.) Having no empty spaces in the salesfloor and full, well-stocked shelves and clothing racks makes a huge difference – who'da thunk it?!

Osceola is a ghost town in eastern Nevada. This old store, a cemetery, and a few other buildings are all that is left, and it is posted Private Property. So, photographs had to be taken from the road. I was struck by how these ruins blend with the surroundings, as the rabbitbrush and sagebrush are gradually taking over.
This floor houses a bathroom and a bedroom. I'm not an interior decorator, but I quite enjoyed building the furniture. It beats putting together stuff from Ikea!

Day 336 [12-1-2016]
First day of December. I went back to work today and made very good progress on the projects that I have been working on all week. After work I met up with George and Scott at the South Shore plaza and we walked around, spent a lot of time in the Apple store, I also noticed a spot with very bright white lights that looks amazing for portraits! George didn't have his camera with him so he was the model today. He did a damn good job too.
I can't wait to see what the next day brings!

First Edition Disney Store Merida with the famous "green nose" problem. I bought her nude and second hand.
Her nose, the ears, hands, feet, knees and chin were green (production fail), and her hair was a bit frizzy. Result after 2 weeks work :)
Another rural exploration day, another empty trip... So this is an image from last year's trip to Saskatchewan, one that I had already processed and posted, but decided to give it a different look. (Yes, it's the Bents general store.)
My flea market adventures on our vacation were a bust, I found nothing, so today I did a quick rn to the local ones and found some treasures to make me feel better. I do not know who the doll is in the back row on the left. The PJ popped off her very damaged body. I can't believe I found a Hawaiian barbie, she is getting a reroot. The Raquel in front is a body donor. Don't know who the superstarish Barbie in the front row is either. Now I have 2 Betty Teen dolls. She might like a new Liv body and a hair treatment.

This beautiful canopy is attached to a former Jewel T supermarket built in 1960 at the SE corner of Hillsborough Ave and Armenia Avenue in Tampa. Another grocery store was built across the street in 1979, originally the Family Mart, later Kash 'n Karry and now Sweetbay. The Jewel T store became Martin's Uniforms, who manufactured uniforms for local businesses. It recently became Macy's Furniture & Mattress Clearance Center. They also had competition from a nearby Publix a block west, also built in 1960 and still there, although rebuilt in the 90s.
