Photographed November 2018 / Rolleiflex TLR 'original model' circa. 1931 with Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 7.5cm/4.5 lens. Film was ILFORD 3200 DELTA PRO metered at ASA 800 developed in PYROCAT-HD ...sodium carbonate version (5ml A + 50ml B > 600ml, 8min @ 20*C). Negative was illuminated on a light panel and scanned with an iPad mini using the film scanner app. A medium grey zone V reference negative was used to obtain 'correct' scanning exposure. Image was processed and finished in Flickr. Image cropped very slightly from full frame.

5mins wash in 1.5l distilled water with squeeze of lemon juice
5mins wash in 1.5l tap water
3mins fix in hypo
1hr final soak

I read somewhere that the new Cyanotype exhibited longer tonal range. That may be so - but so far I’m finding very low contrast / minimal range negatives are faring better. Could be I’m not nailing the exposure, and/or that I’m doing something wrong in the processing/clearing.

It was amazing how often the sky kept changing this day. I took another exposure two minutes after this without moving the camera on the tripod and it looks completely different.
