Red rocks, sagebrush and trees of the Dubois/Wind River, Wyoming area.
One of many breathtaking views we experienced everyday as we headed over the Continental divide towards the Grand Tetons range on our daily trek.
As much as I love trees, (nearly all of my friends are trees) it was a welcome reprieve to be able to enjoy the rugged contours of the land, unfettered by thick foliage (here in the Northeast, most every view is obscured by trees), the openness of sky and the grandiose ancient quality of land forms.

Not happy about the final tones though and since it's a matt surface, it's better suited for hand tinting

I'm just exploring technical options, now that TMY and TMX are so much less expensive right now (yes Kodak actually dropped prices on 120 rolls of their B&W films!)
This is TMY (Tmax 400) rated at 250 ASA, developed in Pyrocat HD, 1:1:100 for 15 minutes. Camera used was the Rolleiflex MX Automatic with f3.5 Tessar (best $70 I ever spent!)
