@greygirl25
Once again this year I am doing the Project 52 with Don Giannetti. It has a twist this year and it’s a little more challenging.
My goal for this assignment I’m trying to get an image of Timber at sunset.
I live in Oregon and it’s February. Challenge #1. I looked out the window almost a little too late to catch it tonight. I have all of my eggs in one basket for tomorrow, it’s our only sunny day for the next 10 days at least.
Tonight was a trial run and Timber was so good. He knows he’s beautiful and he doesn’t mind showing it.
A busy week at work equals a quiet week on the camera. I only took 4 photos - this was one of them.
I was on my way to buy some batteries for my remote triggers when I noticed the large trolley park. Maybe next week for the flash work!
Danbo helping out after another weekend of volleyball photos....lets hope I backed up that card before you format it Danbo!

580EXII Camera Left to provide a little fill.
Fired through homemade snoot with grid and 1/4 CTO to balance better with ambient downlights
Taken later than I would have liked, but when I saw the light and shadows I knew this was my photo. 20/52

Love the light hitting the rail, the pillars, and the building in the distance. I also like the lines in the bottom half of the picture
De voormalige Gemeentebibliotheek van Rotterdam, die nu Bibliotheek Rotterdam heet, is met ruim 2,1 miljoen bezoekers per jaar de meest bezochte instelling van Rotterdam.
This is Beaufont. Currently, she lives in the kitchen, but she has been a few other places in the house. I always love the shadows she makes on my floors or the silhouettes she makes on my windows, but they are so hard to photograph. Photographs typically don't do her justice. Until now....kind of. Although you don't see all of Beaufont in her colorful hanging glory, you do get to see a pretty cool silhouette. By mistake of course...I didn't mean to cover her up with the curtain, but I didn't want my neighbors to see into my kitchen.
Thanks Beau for being so pretty ♥️

It was Dulcie's idea to take a photo of the campervan on the yellow blanket so it looked like sand!
I wrote up a post about the build for GeekDad and we made a groovy time lapse video of it too.
My baby turned 14 this week. Old enough to be teased. He wouldn't smile for a picture, so we told him to think about naked women. Hee.
No apologies for another sparkling droplet from the garden. Alchemilla mollis is a great plant for catching drops.
Little awkward start of this years P52. First, didn't want to commit, then couldn't decide, lastly couldn't resist. So here we go with the second season. I will try to get some nice assignments in, along with travel and diary type shots - I have some nice ideas but overall will not be as focussed as last year - simply due to time constraints. Good luck to all P52 and 365 fellows!
(DSC01999) der kleine Baum steht nicht dahinter, sondern wächst aus den Resten des alten Baums heraus / the small tree grows on the remains of the old tree
I've thought for a few days about this one, and besides listing the obvious list of New Year's resolutions (of which I have many!!) I've been battling my over-reacting mind this week with a stupid fear of the dentist! Being 38 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 has played havoc on my once perfect, cavity-free pearlies. Now I am horrified to need lots of work, starting this Friday! Anyway, I am planning on resolving my fear of the dentist, and as my 3 year old said; 'There are no scary monsters there mummy.' I just needed a little perspective....
